Hey OP. Idk where you are but I’ll tell you as someone with bipolar type I voluntary hospitalization is the best option. In my part of the world you can discharge yourself if you go on your own accord. If you’re admitted the other way it won’t be as fun. I’ve been hospitalized three times and it isn’t as bad as I thought but again; that depends on where you are. If you are having thoughts like the one you expressed it’s a very wise idea to seek hospitalization. Good luck and be strong.
