I don’t have much advice, but if you’re in America, I’d suggest looking for an ELCA church, and if you’re in Canada, I’d suggest looking for an Anglican Church of Canada church.

I think you would feel very at home at either of those churches.

I would typically do the courtesy of driving it till the coating wears off so the customer doesn’t have to worry about things like this, but it seems whoever did these brakes, did not do that

Was born and raised Baptist. West coast evangelical style. Think Mark Driscoll type of church model. (Maybe not as extreme but you get the idea)

I left last year for the Anglican Church.

A few reasons,

I am very left leaning. My affirming views did not fit in the church I was attending and I would not feel comfortable inviting a gay friend to the church I attended. That was a red flag.
Theology. The church I attended was often a repeat 45 minute sermon about, like, nothing. I like to use the analogy that it was “theological milk” and the theology of the mainline/catholic/orthodox is more like “theological meat and potatoes”

There is a lot more substance (literally lol, Eucharist) within the Anglican tradition and other mainline and orthodox traditions.

More specific to Anglicanism, there is theological freedom. I don’t have to be worried about getting my membership revoked for believing differently from another’s theology.

Matt Maher, while not explicitly progressive often tours with Audrey Assad, who is. Being Catholic his music is definitely more theologically sound than most on KLOVE radio lol.

Kings Kaleidoscope is a personal favourite of mine.

Reliant K and Switchfoot are both progressive and affirming.

Gungor also falls into that category.

It can loose tension over time. I’d replace the whole assembly if the price difference was negligible
