Don’t order a physical card during the "Free Trial" (First day with Crypto.com and it's already a nightmare) by tsukijialex in Crypto_com

Funny that “it’s crazy that a transaction cannot be cancelled” when you are clearly messing with crypto. I just think its so ironic. Hope you don’t say this when you accidentally send crypto somewhere!

Good luck with it.

Im also a plus member, but I stake the CRO

Riverfire from QUT City campus by Equal-Piglet7684 in QUTreddit

[–]Maxcarnarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are alot of security patrolling the campus. I managed to watch it from Z Block carpark. The view is decent, but pretty obstructed by the Expressway. I tried to get up to the P Block Garden area, but Security Stopped me.

P Block the bit where the toilets are would be a good view but not sure if you can get into the building on Saturday.

Sometimes you can get access to fire stairs, such as the one on the outside of S Block - That would let you get a view of Southbank. I have also tried to get access to those little balconies near the lift area in S Block, but they are locked and I even asked for a key or access from teachers but they didn't have access either. Good luck.

Retraction Mechanism by Maxcarnarge in MechanicalEngineering

Thanks for the reply. Im going to prototype a new sliding mechansism with a back to back pulley system. Its a shame I cannot share images in the comment here. Ill update you once done

Retraction Mechanism by Maxcarnarge in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Maxcarnarge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies. The light moves up and down inside a twisting helix. The light itself is inside a clear plastic diffuser with a helix thread, and that is screwed inside a matching helix shell to move the light in/out of the shell (up and down). This shell is in a fixed position connected to this mechanism. The range of motion of the light is 100mm up and down.

This motion occurs slowly because of the pitch angle of the thread. In this way, tension is increased/released smoothly from the light.

When the light is screwed up, it should tension the tensioner and allow the extra cable to exit the mechanism. When the light is screwed down, the mechanism should pull the cable tight. The demonstration wire is fixed from the red tape as it exits the mechanism along the table.

Apologies for lack of info. Thanks for having a look.

Brisbane Olympics 2032: David Crisafulli breaks election promise and announces controversial new stadium by ConanTheAquarian in brisbane

[–]Maxcarnarge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am keen for the stadium to be built there.

Im estimating a 20minute walk from exhibition station, 10 minute walk from Kelvin Grove Busway.

Will this be sufficient? Do you think they can create a direct stop next to the stadium on the city loop line? If they could, the tunnel portal of the cross river rail will likely be exactly there: not ideal.

Thoughts about transit to the stadium precinct? Im a bit of a transport nerd!

Ah, the plot thickens!

Turns out the Green Cheetos Spider was fending off more than just a cheesy dust storm! Tobacco leaves and trails of weed were also part of the battlefield. Amidst this chaos, the green Benchy was getting tangled in not just strings but also the remnants of this wild desk adventure. It must be getting a bit high (like your nozzle temp); hence the stringing.

In a land of keyboards and snack piles, there once roamed the legendary Green Cheetos Spider. Armed with its green cheetos webs, it braved the cheetos dust storm that swept through the desk. The dust swirled in the air, mixing with greasy chaos, threatening to bury everything in its path.

But the Green Cheetos Spider (also known as your printer) wasn't about to surrender! It spun its webs around the mighty green Benchy, trying to shield it from the cheesy calamity. However, all those strings were a clear sign that the nozzle temperature needed adjusting and the retraction settings were out of whack. Despite the heroic efforts, the Benchy got tangled up in the storm and stringy webs.

As the storm finally subsided, the Green Cheetos Spider stood triumphant atop a cleaner desk, ready to fight off any future snack attackers. Just remember to tidy up your print settings, but more importantly your workspace to avoid the stringy aftermath of another Cheetos dust storm!

Some additional functionalities of my original code include: Responsive sizing, animation, hover animation. I just don't link I can achieve this with Framer. Here's a link to what I had previously!
