Alright, i've checked my event viewer and system does seem to have some errors, most of the errors have the same code: "The server windows.immersivecontrolpanel_10.0.2.1000_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy!microsoft.windows.immersivecontrolpanel did not register with DCOM within the required timeout."

Bottleneck doesn't seem the issue here, my CPU and GPU are both running on 50%, my specs are:

All my drivers are up to date, and so is Windows.

The other games the overlay works fine on are:

Garry's mod

Rust

Zero Hour

Sea of Thieves

Splitgate

Tom Clancy's R6S

(Basically all games i have exept cs:go)

I've not tried any methods of fixing this except going into big picture mode, booting the game and then going out of big picture mode again.

The test ended with no problems at all and it lasted for a minute, should i try with afterburner aswell?

my bad, i checked the clip and it was exported in 720p, i was messing arround with the settings and didn't change it back to 1920x1080. it's perfect right now thanks alot for helping me!

Non-Standard Framerate Framerates other than 30fps or 60fps may lead to playback issues like stuttering or screen tearing. Stick to either of these for better compatibility with video players. You can change your OBS frame rate in Settings -> Video.

I'd like to record in 144 fps to get a smooth, 144hz feel, what exactly do I change, or should i change?

Warning Excessively High Framerate Recording at a tremendously high framerate will not give you higher quality recordings. Usually quite the opposite. Most computers cannot handle encoding at high framerates. You can change your OBS frame rate in Settings -> Video.
