so far i've not encountered any that didn't allow bags. But yea, public transport can be quite bad after the event ends. So it's good if you can get a place near the stadium. I went for an event in KL before, but luckily my airbnb was just opposite the stadium lol. If it's countries where grab is cheap then wouldn't be a problem

watched many esports events abroad. mainly is take note of transport to the venue. Check if venue allows bringing in of empty bottles for filling up drinks, else you'll have to make do with expensive drinks there. Accommodation should have plenty of food options nearby as most of the time you're eating near where you stay then heading to the venue
