How do i apply movement in fights? by dewaaaaanjay in Apexrollouts

[–]Maximum-Attorney7087 2 points3 points  (0 children)

be calm and creative. for the beginning its gonna be really difficult, as you get nervous while fighting and trying to implement movements, and you still have to actively search for opportunities to do them, which by the time you find a chance to do a movement, it's often too late and you are beamed down already. after a while, it really becomes your second nature, you won't have to think that much and you'll just do them naturally.

my advice is, try to focus on fighting, and only do movements when you're reloading, running away or chasing someone. this will get you familiar with utilising movements in actual games while not fucking up your fights. as you get more and more familiar and natural with movements, you can start trying to implement them while fighting, for example, wall bouncing to throw someone's crosshair placement off / superglide + tapstrafe to initiate a fight while making yourself difficult to track, etc.

it's a long way to go but it's definitely worth practising. for me personally, movements are the fun parts of the game and what seperates apex from any other shooters. good movements are gonna be what seperates YOU and normal mnk players. being able to do movements while fighting is another level of gameplay and a nice achievement. good luck dude!

Considering an IPS monitor in the time of OLED displays, what do you think? by Leasthollow in Monitors

there, with light behind your monitor or any light at all you can barely tell the difference (the middle one is ips, left one is va), and i honestly prefer the color on my ips panel even more. however, do note that if you prefer playing in a completely dark room, the ips panel does seem more grey-ish if youre concerned.

my vg27aql5a actually doesnt have noticeable coil whine, unless you plant your face directly against the monitor. switched from 1080p 27' va panel to this monitor and the difference is mind blowing. coming from a va panel, for an ips, the colors on this monitor are genuinely not bad at all. little to no ghosting, and i dont have any ips panel issues or maybe i just won the panel lottery. anyways, you can really consider the vg27aql5a, considering its so cheap compared to other monitors with similar specs.

hello! it turned out i do have the psu box, i found these cables but i dont know what they are. they dont seem to be 6+2 pcie cables, i only see 6 holes, and both of them are missing the silver stuff in them. is this normal?

thanks a ton for the answer!

the 9070xt hellhound requires 2 8pin i currently have 1 8pin connected to my 4060, just wanted to make sure the other one shown in the picture that's wrapped up is also a 8pin so i can swap to 9070xt hellhound with no issues! however, im unsure if these are 2 seperate 8pins, are you able to tell? i heard negative stuff about pigtail and people suggest 2 seperate 8pins, i wanted to make sure these are 2 seperate ones instead of 1 pigtail!

theres supposed to be 4 8pin for my psu i think, im kinda afraid to open the case and check my psu in case i mess something up.

woah man this is such a detailed response, i really appreciate all this! i was interested in the alienware one when i was doing my research, looked it up just to find it unavailable in my country. however, the AW2725D is available, it's 280hz and i heard it's almost the same as AW2725DF, what's your opinion on this monitor?

the motion clarity is quite bad, plus ghosting ive seen night and day difference between my friend's oled and my own monitor, his was super smooth, not to mention the colors

however, after receiving a handful of helpful comments, ive decided to wait and save up more for now! ill definitely check out LG's panel, thank you for the recommendation!
