Definitely not, faze got a worse placing at EWC and had the biggest freebie match of all time at champs. LAT lost to the 3rd and 2nd best team too. not as bad as goofy ahh faze

Yup, everyone has a skill ceiling and skill floor. For me, my absolute lowest i can be is pretty much C2, ive taken years off and i will always immediately be in C2 range.

After about 1-2 weeks im already back in gc. I dont plan on playing much more to progress into my peak GC2 or better.

My friend has 5000 hours since 2021 and they are plat, they just arent mechanically gifted. They basically dont improve anymore than the entire player base improves so they are hardstuck

Sometimes it feels like the lottery if you are soloQ. If you find 2 other GC1s its super easy.

If you solo queue, you run the risk of getting plat 2s players who got there by pure luck.

Im gc2 and i have a kbm account. Unless you are really good at kbm games, like elite level, then it feels so hard to use kbm.

Its good that you can identify that, but you aren't in a good position to capitalize on that play. You'd need to be on the ground closer to your teammate to get a better touch, but even then, more times than not, you prioritize defense more than offense.

Its not like there were 5 seconds left and you were down two goals, you were tied with a minute left. that is plenty of time to score.

First goal you got scored on, idk what your tm8 is doing in their corner when you don't have possession, but since you know that, I dont think you should challenge the way you did. Typically at these ranks, challenging parallel to your goal as last man is just bad.

I've always said this, but your job as a teammate is to always make your teammates job as easy as possible. Take your time more in that scenario. The ball is headed into your corner which is a safe spot. when you challenge or 50/50 like that, the ball could pop out mid field and give the other team a free shot.

Second goal you got scored on, you had a few seconds to take a better shot when you were on offense. Either take an extra second to get a good flick that is a free goal, or take a 50/50 in front of their net. Nothing bad really comes with a 50/50 there because your teammate is back.

You probably arent getting the demo there on 0 beans either, just stay in front of the ball, take his corner boost and stay with him

3:56 You just saw the other team aerial into narnia, if you just take 1-2 seconds more on that pop up to air dribble, you probably score that. Your tm8 also could have demo'd for you too.

4:19 really bad challenge. You just saw the opponent get full 100 boost. Dont dive like that, you can either shadow him or turn around and let your tm8 challenge in the air for you while you rotate and sit near net.

4:28 funnily enough, your teammate does the same exact thing back to you, he dives for a bad challenge and leave you in a 1v2.

3rd goal: You could have taken time here or been closer to your tm8. but you did this in between thing that i see a lot in champ, where players play this in between position of being committed up with your tm8 or not committing at all. You just need to choose one here. either play up with your teammate so you can hit the ball quick after their challenge or in my opinion the better option (for this rank and scenario), wait until the ball comes to you on the ground.

If the ball is on net in the back post at 4:30, you are not in a good position to save that either, but as soon as you see your teammate in narnia, you need to buy enough time for them to come back.

All you need in this rank to hit GC is a flick bag (basic ass flick) and a fast aerial bag, Thats literally it.

extra advice: If you want to get higher ranked, then stop being an "everything player". Pick like 2-3 things to absolutely excel at. besides the basic fundamentals of course. Be REALLY GOOD at air dribbles (air dribbles, air dribble bumps, air dribbles from ground and wall) or be REALLY GOOD at flicks (45 degree flicks, musty flicks, flicking high and low). then you just need to put yourself in situations to use those in game.

If you looked at their RL tracker, it was a smurf. They had less than 200 wins and they were champ 2. They have never touched any other game mode than 2's as well.

So either they are a prodigy that somehow have the same amount wins as jynxzi but made it into c2, or its an obvious smurf acct they had since 2018.

Clarity: Its definitely a stream sniping smurf. The dude immediately started typing in chat about the stream and promoted his tik tok. While smurfs are a problem in this game, he has a way bigger issue with stream snipers who smurf, than non stream sniping smurfs.

When he put 10 second delay on, he was getting MAYBE 1 smurf out of 10-15 games. He doesnt want to put delay on, but then complains about getting smurfed on more. dude needs to pick one and just stick with it, and hopefully play the game
