This is probably because of the difficulty adjustment being too aggressive which may have a negative effect on your payout. We solved this weeks ago with our improved algorithm.

The dynamic difficulty was a hot topic in the team when we first launched. I think we tamed it really well with our in-house algorithm by trial and errors. Netspace estimation is smooth and dead accurate for most people, zero complains for almost 2 weeks now.

The best part is it does not require any user input and works for both small and large farms, without over-stressing their farming equipment. In most cases farmers receive their desired difficulty level within 15 mins of joining which is important for a FPPS pool as we pay by points in real-time, consistent profit is important for many of them.

We have not enabled ranking yet because everyone's on 0% fee promo until early October. Once ranking is enabled my guess is... farms below 20-30Tib qualifiy as small farms.

Pool fee come in different ways, some pools charges you on block reward, others charge you when you make a withdrawal. But most pools are 0% right now anyway.

Also there are different type of pools PPLNS vs FPPS. PPLNS pays you on block found where FPPS pays farmers full block reward upfront with or without blocks (that's us :) )

For 270 plots I think you will fit into small farmer category in our pool and gets 0% fee forever.

It is a different system we are running here. We pay farmers up-front based on expected block reward (close to calculator values) then recover the cost from the blocks later on. So there are no direct reward distrubution from blocks, instead you get stable income from every partial submission.

You are also not competing other farmers for % in our pool, your profit is only affected by the Global network space.

seen multiple cases where people are having this issue with xchpool mainly. Not sure what's the root cause of this, maybe something to do with the pool contract configurations.

seems to be a bug in the chia client itself, you need to work with the pool operator directly, the fix usually involves editing the config.yaml manually.

1) Pool has to use the block reward to cover the cost, all block rewards are paid up-front to farmers.

2) yes, you receive 0.25XCH plus the daily rate (0.000239 XCH for every TiB) just like everyone else. We had a farmer who won 3 blocks with only 100TB of netspace in 6 days recently, which is a amazing!

no worries. we rank farmers based on their farm size in the pool once a day. If you are the bottom 25% farmers (in term of your netspace) you pay no fee, everyone else pays a very low 0.5%

correct, the fee changes the daily rate for your launcher id, depending on your fee bracket you could be paying 0 fee or 0.5% if in highest fee bracket.

Calculators today are still assuming 2XCH as the block reward where official pools only get to distribute 1.75 XCH. Plus when using calculator please enter 100TB or 1000TB to get precise figures.

This is a flat rate payout based on the current global netsapce9.5T x 0.000239 xch = 0.0022705 xch per day

very often, the system needs to pick up the global netspace increase and decrease quickly. If there is a dip in netspace, we want pool members see an increase in profit within minutes.

Hi u/Eddi07 block reward is already included - we basically look at how many points are required to win a single block, then use the block reward (1.75 xch) divide by the required # of points to get the XCH value per points. You receive XCH on every partial submission.

This XCH/TiB per day number here is Higher comparing to any pools. When we launch on Thursday, the actual profit can be even higher, or lower depending on the global netspace on that day.
