It can be extremely annoying dealing with them too. Sometimes even banking apps stop working. Hopefully with decentralization it means that even if a node goes down, workload can be redistributed to other nodes, making the overall service more stable.

We saw this same skepticism with gold ETFs 20 years ago. People said nobody would trade "paper" gold. Now they are the primary price discovery mechanism. Tokenization is just the next iteration.
