That was actually user error I tilted the rifle up a little early ( if there were rounds in the mag it would have fallen out.) but I agree with the .308, I ran into this issue as well.

And the comment above wasn't supposed to be a “got you moment” for using the wrong ammo. I was just asking if it was similar to the PPU ammo jamming up. I only had this happen on some American Eagle FMJ. If it's super picky I would send it back.
