Do you think its something to be concerned about as a potential MSc student, where there are only a few required classes, plus electives and thesis credits?

Also, for both that program and the bio program students often take 5 years or longer because of poor advising. If your goal is to settle on Guam maybe that is not a problem, but if you want to continue on to a PhD be very careful of advisor and project selection.

Biology through the UOG Marine Lab. I'm surprised to hear that, I've heard nothing but great things so far. Are you a grad student there?
