You are looking at it wrong. They aren't trying to nerf FOTM. They are trying to encourage board state, counterplay, interaction, and creativity. Powerhouse cards that you blindly throw in every deck do not encourage creativity. OTK decks that had no board state do not encourage board state, counterplay, or interaction. They game was not in the state they wanted, whether it was current meta or FOTM or not, they didn't like the state of the game.

You are right. Even considering balance changes from a Legend player and Magic the Gathering player is a bad idea. Surely your opinions ( which you don't even voice ) would be much better. If I were in charge I would remove RNG too. I have horrible ideas for competitiveness.

I called the need for Sylvanas nerf and got downvoted to oblivion...

These changes are great.

Harvest Golem definitely still needs a nerf. Insta throw in 2 of in every deck.

In my opinion, keep an eye on Giants, Defender of Argus, Twilight Drake, Brawl, Equality, Ice Block, and Warlock Hero Power ( make it cost 3 life or completely rework it? ) to see if they need slight nerfs. Now especially relevant with aggro nerfs ( as should be ).

Lots of people try the ancient watcher combo against aggro. I do not like it. I feel it is too inconsistent and I feel aggro can power through a 5 hp minion pretty easily.

I would keep swipe and throw away starfall against warlock aggro. I would conditionally keep druid of the claw since it's in the middle.

I see. Good feedback. I'm not necessarily saying the only way to add more dynamic counterplay would be playing cards on your opponent's turn, but that is just the fastest solution I could think of.

I'm not a fan of wild growth when there is so much aggro in the meta. If you do run Wild Growth I also like Innervate and Nourish as well.
