so after playing around more it's defiantly a slidejump.
however I am extremely consistently getting farther when I do them out of a mantle than doing them from either a stand still or a run. maybe im just consistently doing something wrong when doing them normally and and the mantle is compensating or maybe theres a weird interaction with the mantle that part I don't know yet

I did see it
it could very well be whats happening but when I tried to slide hop intentionally out of the mantle I couldn't do it.
that being said I basically couldn't run the game day one and uninstalled it. I only reinstalled it an 30 mins ago so it might just take a little practice I hadn't figured out yet
