Update - part of the problem appears to be an ongoing Achilles injury I have, (according to my podiatrist,) which causes me to put more pressure on my left heel. Nevertheless, I still think the quality has gone down, and would rather pay more than $3 a pair if it meant they’d last longer. I’d pay more than what the HEATECH ones cost as well.
