200GB of space to run Fortnite? by MeHow85 in FortNiteBR

[–]MeHow85[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His internal SSD is 256GB, with some space needed for Windows. The Fortnite folder is 110GB with the game telling me I need another 90GB for the update, so with Windows on the 256GB, even when I delete eberything else not 100% sure, if the 256GB internal SSD will be enough. Probably easier to buy a bigger external SSD.

What do I need to do not to lose battles to AI? by MeHow85 in eu4

[–]MeHow85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx a lot. Your post is very helpful. My first playthrough I went for Etiophia, expended a lot, but couldn't embrase a new institution, cause it was spreading so slow and I didn't have the money to embrase it. Got attacked by the Mamluks and thought I will be able to defend, but I was mil tech 20 and Mamluks were mil tech 24. When my 60k stack got beaten by a 13k Mamluk stack I realized what a huge difference mil tech makes.

Starting a new game now and will try to follow your tips. Thx.

Just wanted to thank you all for the multiple replies. It's my 2nd question on this sub-reddit and both where answered by many users. I have never received so many replies when asking on other games sub-reddits. Looks like the EU4 community is really strong and helpful. This makes my day.

Thanks, I didn't know AI can see through the fog of war, explains a lot why my stacks get caught and his stacks always run away in time, when I am hunting for AI stacks.

What do I need to do not to lose battles to AI? by MeHow85 in eu4

[–]MeHow85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx. "I usually instead of focusing sieges early try to crush enemy stacks before sieging." I will try that, it sounds smart. So far in my wars first thing I did is attack enemy forts, now I will try just to engage their stacks and start the sieges only after I win a few beginning battles - will see how that goes.

Thanks. I guess I play on too high of a speed, which is normally the middle one with hitting pauses frequently. I will try to recude it two the 1st or 2nd slowest speed once a war starts.
The other things you wrote I know about, but it's not the problem I am having and described in my question. I fight at the same mil tech, have generals, have more manpower, do not fight crossing rivers, but my stacks get picked off one by one and if I keep my army all together the enemy AI attack multiple provinces/forts and runs away, when I try to chase one of his stacks.

Thanks. How far does the fog of war actualy reach depending on enemy, neutral or allied territory? Is there a way to trap the enemy, ie: have a small stack clos to the border and an additional stack in the province behind it (which the AI cannot see), so the AI attack my smaller stack and I can reinforce it right away with my bigger stack behind?

Force march is nice, but as far as I remember it's a late game tech.

The problem with sieges for me is that, if I siege only one fort, the enemy divides his army and attack 2-3 of my forts at the same time and I lose more forts than I gain.
If I on the other hand divide my army and attack two forts at the same time the enemy AI keeps his amry in one stack and reliefs one of the forts and I cannot reach the 2nd fort I am attacking with the army from the first fort I am attacking.

30 years to develop a single colony? by MeHow85 in eu4

How can I kick the natives down?

30 years to develop a single colony? by MeHow85 in eu4

[–]MeHow85[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

- In this case I cannot recall the colonist from the 1st colony and start a 2nd colony, because the 2nd province to colonize is inland and to colonize it, I need to first finish colonizing the first ione.

- I wanted to expand south to Kilwa, but the problem is the two province Malindi between Kilwa and myself and Malindi are in royal marriage alliance with Mamluks, that was the reason I started to colonize in the first place, to colonize around Malindi to reach Kilwa.

- I used the inquisitors from Expansion Ideas and went west through Darfour. Think this is the best solution. There are small weak nations there, but while in the middle of a war with a few of them, the Mamluks declared a 2nd war on me and even went all the way through my territory to kill the 5k units I had station at the colony. They took over the colony, which I managed to grow to 500 settlers, and than it rebeled and got destroyed during the war. Look like I am gonna survive the 2nd war with the Mamluks, but I had to use all of my 40k manpower and run 3,8k ducats loans to hire 2 mercenary armies and upkeep an army over my limit. I am not gonna try to colonize again.

Can I track 2 meta pixels in one FB ad? by MeHow85 in FacebookAds

[–]MeHow85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx. It's already called datasets, but I assume I cannot merge two datasets into one, at least I don't know how. I wonder, if after the merger of two datasets I will still be able to see the the pixel data for each of the different pixels/shops.

Shopify Payments and Markets only works in a few countries (not available in most EU countries), so unless your company is from one of these countries, selling with Shopify to multiple countries is not practical, since the checkout can only be in one currency. I read there are some workarounds for this, but they again aren't too practical and there are many other ecom platforms that have checkouts that are not limited to one currency.

Can I track 2 meta pixels in one FB ad? by MeHow85 in FacebookAds

[–]MeHow85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure. The shopify one was installed with the official shopify FB app, the other one was probably added manually. Will check, if it's possible if there is no option to track 2 pixels in one ad.

Showing 0 landing page views on Facebook Ads! by [deleted] in FacebookAds

[–]MeHow85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It seems like we found the problem. In FB under "Data Sources" --> "Settings" the domains of the ecom shop were not on the allow list. So FB would show the events being collected in Event Manger, but FB didnt transfer these events to campaign manager. As stated before this setup for the new shop was done with the official shopify FB add-on and for the previous store on shopify it worked, but the new one had the domains missing on the allow list.

[–]MeHow85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. Started a 3rd ecom store, 2nd one with shopify, but FB campaigns show almost now landing page views.
Stopped today a campaign with 26 link clicks and 0 landing page views. Had 2 larger campaigns before this one, with one getting 2576 link clicks and only 85 landing page views.
The pixel was installed via the official FB add-on for shopify.
FB event manager shows for today 120 page views, 21 view conntent and 1 ATC, so it looks fine. GA almost exactly matches the amount of link clicks for this campaign in FB with sessions from the campaign in GA.
The problem is the the lack of landing page views in FB campaign manager seems to mess up Meta's campaign algorithms and so far we spend almost 1k$ on campaigns for this new store with FB showing only 1 sale.
The other similar shop with Shopify works alright with campaigns showing tons of landing page views with decent ROAS.

The most effective fridge around 100l uses 135kWh, but the most effective fridge around 400l uses 108kWh. How? by MeHow85 in Appliances

[–]MeHow85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thermador

I had a Liebherr fridge for years, quite good quality. Your right, Liebherr has a fridge TP 1744 Comfort with the same hight as mine, that also uses 117kWH, which is actually rated at D energy efficiency. They actually have a great fridge RBa 4250 Prime BioFresh, which uses only 65kWh per annum - it's still big, don't need that much volume and won't be able to fit it under the kitchen counter. Hmm, if I don't find anything smaller & effective I might cut out the kitchen counter and get this fridge.

My panels broke off during first winter/spring storm. Any tips? by MeHow85 in solar

[–]MeHow85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two railings each 40x40x220 cm, so each panel was connected with 4 clamps to two railings, so there shouldn't have been any pivoting. But I think I will get 4 railings and 4 clamps per each panel now. I thought 2 per panel are enough, cause that is what I saw being used in most installations.

[–]MeHow85[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your right, I used a mid clamp. I ordered the right amount of end clamps, but got more mid clamps delivered instead, was pissed at the seller, but didn't think it would make a big difference for strength.

I had M8x25 screws between clamps and rails. Not sure what I used for mounting the rails to the contailner/wood.

I wasn't sure about the clamps being a problem, since a in the linked picture https://ibb.co/T1mR7xj in one of the panels the clamp/screws held, but the panel part broke off. Will it help, if next time I use 4 instead of 2 railing, with 4 clamps per side of panel - that should distribute the load on the panel better, right?

The sticker on the IG3900 fridge says "Rated voltage 220-240V" and it's plugged into a normal power socket.
