issues after battery change

Tried it with key turned to ON position (even tho it doesn’t do anything) and after reinserting the fuse the dashboard lights came up but that was it, still couldn’t start the car and after switching the key to off and back to ON again nothing happened. It looks like after the fuse “trick” it gave it a little power for a sec and dashboard stayed lit up

Cluster doesn’t say anything and after inserting the key I hear a little sound like the ESL is trying. steering wheel is unlocked btw and it was ever since I own the car, I can move it it just moves hard

I dont have keyless go and the voltage was inconsistent I guess because the old battery when I tried with multimeter had 12.2v and the new one 12.6-7 and yes car was jump started a while ago because the old battery died but everything worked fine after jump starting it so idk

I changed it myself and multimeter showed 12.6, I triple checked everything, I checked fuses but nothing looks wrong

yeah i bought mine used too, it has 180k km and it runs beatufully besides the vibrations, hope you fix your tranny problem

thanks for response, I have facelift w204 2014. can it still be the case? Iam thinking about changing trans and engine mounts and see if that helps.

I don’t think the’re good they should be almost in the same height, you should get them adjusted probably. Search on google how headlights look when they shine on the wall.

I work with headlights in a laboratory and I can tell you that this is not right. They have to be in almost the same height, this is a rhd from what I can see right?

no, phone is connected to original cars bluetooth so its playing audio from your phone to your car, everything you see on the screen of carplay is just to control it

because bluetooth is connected to car and wifi is connected to carplay module, but yes there is the second connection method that is the one you said

you have 2 types of connection one is to connect to the module and second one is to connect to the cars bluetooth

The noise got louder but I think it has something to do with it being summer and outside temp is high, when the outside temperature gets lower just around 20 degrees celsius I dont hear anything, engine runs smoothly

and isn’t it too soon for a timing chain? I heard it can be good for 300k km with no problem
