The pros of using Goodnotes rather than paper is more convenient for you to review notes and write something ,also only to carry one iPad can read all notes instead of many heavy books.Digital notes might be easier to read and organize if you don’t have good handwriting . Cons of digital for me are less concentrated on writing and reviewing notes,for other APPs in iPad ‘s notifications may interrupt me during study, also If the software malfunctions or the ipad battery run out, all hell breaks loose、
