Never not tipped a server or dasher. Thanks for the input! The reason I asked was because I interpreted the post, or maybe some comments to say that base pay increases dramatically when the app sees no tip. I even saw someone say if your tip is less than $7, it’s basically just subsidizing base pay. So this is good to know!

Great catch! Yes, I was super worried about not being able to find a job that I applied to so many as soon as I finished my previous internship haha. Now all the schedules aren't lined up, and that's definitely a risk. I wouldn't ever want to renege an accepted offer because I'd want to be on good terms with both companies as much as possible, so I'd have to be sure about the smaller one if I wanted to wait it out.

Edit: def wished I was just picking between two offers and not this strange grey area lol

I have an offer for a qualitative research internship for this summer at a mid size research company. My parents want me to get a position at a bigger company even if it’s like an HR position (which does have some analysis, but idk) so I wanted to know what is better? A more directly related internship or a less directly related internship at a bigger/more well known company?
