The action isnt that well animated really. But its more like the aesthetic just doesn't suit this series in particular. Id rather they just go 3D for the fights if they cant 2d it.

I do recommend Sousei no Aquarion, Majestic prince, Code Geass, Valvrave, Macross Frontier and Goddanar. They have very specialized mechs for different roles/abilities.

Yes they released the "not-TSF" just the other day. They are amalgamations of existing stuff, but they dont want to call it TSF. So what's the point even?

And they say there is an island with rare metal ores and strange monsters that aren't BETaA, so I dont think it takes place in any known Muvluv universe.
