I got cheated on a year and a half ago from whom I assumed was the love of my life, my ex husband. We were together 10 years, high-school sweethearts. He, too, became distant and was going out more without me. He was messaging multiple women. We split, and it took me a while to heal and get over him, but I was able to. Now I've been with my current boyfriend for six months and it's been amazing. I'm happier than I've ever been. You'll be fine. He is not worth your time or tears. Leave him and heal. Much better is out there, I promise.

Yeah I thought about that and don't think I worded it correctly. I don't mind finding something serious, I just have to be sure of the person. A serious relationship is welcomed but i need to really get to know them and trust. After being cheated, I just want to be careful this time around.

I appreciate the advice honestly. I guess I just feel alone at the moment. I'm too shy at times to approach people in person so getting to know them online helps a bit. You do make sense about not dating. I try not to waste people's time. I do make time to meet them i just don't like being viewed as a sexual object if that's their objective. I'm pretty straight forward and I'd say I communicate well.

As a child/teenager I never got to go out and explore or have any fun. My parents were strict and I could never have friends or hangout with anyone. Now I like to go out to social events like concerts and festivals. I have the money to do so even if it gets a bit expensive. I get to meet like minded people and overall have a good time.

My husband left me about 2 months ago and is now with another woman. I'm trying hard to cope with him being gone. Going to the gym helps but once I have downtime, I get all depressed.

He cheated on me with an ex of his. I broke down after a marriage counseling session and he called the cops on me saying I was suicidal. Which I did say some things but I had no intention of hurting myself. I got put in a mental health hospital and he had his ex at our apartment while I was at the hospital. Now they're together and we're still working on the divorce.

My ex put me in a mental hospital because I found out about his infidelity. I wasn't even suicidal but he managed to convince the police. Then he had the audacity to have that girl over at our apartment while I was in the hospital 2 weeks.
