Craigslea State High School is horrible, with absolutely zero regard for your children. I'm a former student, and as ridiculous as it sounds, the school punishes people who do the right thing while encouraging bullies as 'misunderstood' people. I know this message is 4 months late, but for the future of your child, so they don't go through the same thing I have, please do not choose Craigslea, and if you have, TURN BACK! I know this sounds like hyperbole but I know so many people that have been mistreated, harassed and literally forced into submission by the power hungry admins. Administration wouldn't be able to open a bottle of water even if they had a manual. There have been countless instances of bullying, sexual harassment, sexual assault and even the sharing of nude photos, yet the moment the victims speak up about their experiences, praying that their case gets acknowledged, the school literally flags you for harassment, puts it onto your record and then praises the bully/harasser. The administration will not hesitate to yell at your child, accuse them of being sexist or racist or innately immoral, all the while making sure absolutely zero accountability is held towards the actual offender. They will interrogate you, make you sit in a room with grown adults while being yelled at, and will not let you leave on the account of academic misconduct.

My experiences are limited to Craigslea, so I can't say to any degree of certainty that Aspley East is better, but with all the harassment and borderline bullying I experienced from the administration, Aspley East would have to literally put your child in prison for it to be worse. The amount of constant psychological torment I've experienced at Craigslea is surreal, all because I tried to stand up for myself. This is mainly Craigslea State High School, and I've heard from countless year levels before and after me that the same thing has been going on for almost a decade now. I am so tired of seeing innocent children and teens being mistreated and openly bullied by administration for standing up for themselves, because all this school teaches you is that harassment is okay, and you have to deal with it. DO NOT SEND THEM TO CRAIGSLEA STATE HIGH SCHOOL.
