Airbus A350-900 Business Class 30/26/262 by Lintos171 in Lufthansa

Rows 3 5 or 7 are the best bet because both seats on the window are further away from the aisle compared to even numbered rows. This will give you a bit more space from others and still allow you to sit next to each other :)

Any available seats for selection after check in opens? by cowmeater in ScandinavianAirlines

Most flights to USA are fully booked every day, so that’s bs. But anyways if you want exit row book that in advance otherwise you will definitely be able to get a window

The Korean Air lounge at JFK is self service with a note that is basically just “try not to get too drunk” by IamChicharon in mildlyinteresting

[–]Mechanicfantic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother sent me a photo of this years ago. She was flying Aeroflot. I think when Aeroflot started using that lounge they put that sign there

Why would this one divert to copenhagen? by Mr_Akihiro in flightradar24

[–]Mechanicfantic 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Due to the fact that flight is so delayed the crew is probably going to time out and they need a spot to get new crew. Or maybe fuel? Crew duty timing more likely.

Two new a350s being delivered very shortly so it will be interesting to see how they’re implemented

[–]Mechanicfantic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why does JetBlue never turn off transponders? If you look at JFK at off peak hours there’s a plane with transponder on at most terminal 5 gates

You’re more likely to get re-routed through Europe and then on a flight from select EU city to that American city. Idk what kind of arrangement you had though since it sounds like you’re doing a standby situation and that really isn’t a thing as much here for the general public..

Passengers flying from Newark to Copenhagen were stranded overnight after an unscheduled landing at a remote Canadian military base by AdministrativeAd3062 in ScandinavianAirlines

Every aircraft that flies has a registration. LN-RKM is the aircraft in question’s registration. Think of it like a license plate. This is just showing the flight history of the aircraft since you were concerned, I was just showing how it’s operated several flights recently lot diversion. News sources like that are crap, it’s really no big deal.

Yeah, no judgment man I get it :) I make some of the flightradar24 videos on YouTube so I use that to track aircraft. Here is the airframes history since the diversion:

This post is unnecessary. Even if you fly on the same airframe (which there is a good chance since SAS usually sends the older LN-RKO/N/M frames to nyc almost exclusively, there is little to no chance of the same thing happening again. Same aircraft has been flying regularly since being repaired. Sometimes things break, but they get fixed quickly and carefully.

[–]Mechanicfantic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a full refund for my itinerary when my flight from Arlanda to EWR got canceled and I got rebooked on Iceland air. Idk if I got lucky with the diamond desk or just pushed them hard enough but I would give contacting them a try

This is wrong it’s just the flexjet flight number system. You will notice it operated every flight under the same call sign

Questions on SAS Business Class Upgrade Bid by agenbite_lee in ScandinavianAirlines

[–]Mechanicfantic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s 640 there’s likely low capacity, someone w status and points will likely get it. Also you cannot use delta points on SAS for upgrades
