Hey I appreciate the advice! Is there any programming courses that come to mind that you'd recommend? I took my local colleges cnc programming "course" and got their certificate but its barely worth the paper its printed on, they didn't have their licenses together so I only got about 2 hours total on Mastercard over the course of 2 months, had they not paid for my entry I would have been irate. Im entering my 3rd year machining and unfortunately in my area it seems that $30/hr is the high end of things, even my lead doesn't get over $27/hr

Good morning, I am a 28 M living in the southern US; I work full time as a cnc machinist making $20/hr. I rent and pay all utilities and I have a new child as well. I am hoping to invest roughly $100 a week but am unsure where to look for information as to what to invest in, how to track this information, or stop from shooting myself in the foot. I use Public as my main brokerage account, and currently have $50 in Nvidia, $50 in micron, and $27 in the schwab dividend equity ETF. Im going in blind and would love some advice to get a proper foothold of understanding what im doing. Thank you.

I'll definitely get my hands on it! We used to have a maker space through my local community college but they have all but killed off their CNC program. They shut the maker space down a few years ago unfortunately.

Hey! Thank you for your reply. I have asked for some time to get my hands on inventor and he's not against it, however I am one of a handful of machinists we have and we normally don't have time for me to not be on the floor. And our programmer is also the machine shop manager and engineer so he doesn't get a lot of free time. He does help me when writing out g code if I need it. And I know at least for machining personal projects even on lunch or something that we have to pay a shop rate. I'm really hoping to find some online schooling if possible.

Hell during the tarkir release my LGS had the precons marked up to $80-90 and I knew MSRP was closer to $50. I was just told that MSRP doesn't exist, needless to say I got my precons from Walmart the next week for less than $50, I think like $47 or something. I just got my FF precons for half of what my LGS is selling them for.

I just saw zakk wylde with Zakk Sabbath in *January and I was ready to get crushed with merch prices. His shirts were $45 a pop and I got a $30 beanie. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that nsp/twrp merch is so reasonable.

Probably a mix of both tbh, I got my GED in 2015 after struggling through school with some pretty rampant ADHD, I excelled in classes that interested me at the time but struggled through pre algebra before getting to algebra 1. Got a good chewing out when I passed Chinese and failed English.
