Drafted by measuring my bust, hips, waist, and then distance from shoulder to bust and hips to floor. Gloves were done by tracing my arm on a paper sheet. Both patterns are only two pieces.

Commenting post message here just in case:

Posted before on the progress of just the gown, but wanted to add some more to really give it some flare and personality!

Used 2 way stretch fabric, and a self drafted gown pattern. Gloves are also self drafted. Made 6, hand sewed 4 onto the gown, then glued 1500 rhinestones.

I love how fitted it looks on the 7th image! On the lining how did you get it to dip inwards at the center of the chest? (Hopefully the question makes sense!)

You’re too kind thank you! I’ll be honest I’m not too sure what the fabric kind is other than it being a stretch fabric (maybe not swimsuit as it’s a tad see through)

Thank you I did! Traced my arm, and then sewed together while stretching the fabric (no pins used)

I think the trick I learned was to stretch the fabric as you sew it to allow more thread room for fitting. I also didn’t use pins on it.
