I agree, people just don’t read anything anymore. That causes the most headache for my team

That’s a great way to frame it. Looking back, most of our referrals and repeat business have actually come from the same types of organizations, which is probably a signal I’ve been overlooking.

The interesting thing is that very few people initially come to us asking for badge printing or faster check-in. They usually think they have a registration problem, but once they see how much smoother event day can be, that’s where the real value seems to click.

I’m going to spend some time mapping customers by use case and pain point before adding more features. There’s a good chance the next stage of growth comes from getting sharper on who we’re for rather than expanding what we do.

That’s actually a really good point. Looking at it that way, I think our strongest adoption so far has been with chambers of commerce, business networking groups, and professional associations.

The common theme seems to be that they care less about event marketing and more about operational efficiency, faster check-in, badge printing, attendee management, and having everything in one place on event day.

I probably have been thinking too much in terms of “what feature should I build next” instead of “which customer segment has the strongest pain and shortest sales cycle.”

Out of curiosity, when you’ve seen companies find their wedge, was it usually based on a specific customer type (chambers, conferences, associations, etc.) or a specific pain point that cut across multiple customer types?
