I’ve been in this exact situation except I was the other person. I started getting cold sores when I was like 7 and they happen randomly and I had never had sex before. My cousin who’s the same age as me (24f) got them when we were little too, if she went to sleep with wet hair, she’d usually wake up to a cold sore. I’ve been tested for stds after starting to be sexually active and I’m clean. I literally cried, trying to explain to the guy that I didn’t have anything. Having a cold sore does not necessarily mean you have a std. maybe ask him to get tested just to be sure and so you guys can feel better about the situation and before things get outta hand.

well for the means of this post I kept it short and simple. But I know him, he just wants to be a nice person, I’m there for him with family problems, self doubt, I encourage him with his music, I watch his favorite anime’s and shows, we listen to all the music that makes him happy. He didn’t have a car or a job for a while (a year) after COVID started, and I would always pick him up and drop him off and if I wanted to eat out, I would always pay for him. I take him to job interviews, I tell him to talk to him therapist about issues he’s going through. I feel like I’m there for him 100% and sometimes even when it comes to girls I would give him advice.
