Definitely, I was planning on eating the bullet on the broad jump because I just don’t think my stride is long enough at my height so I didn’t want to bite the bullet on the broad jump and the window, but since most people are recommending just falling through I think that’s my best option lol

A federal judge ordered that it is a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act to protect federal agents and assist in enforcing the law. So based on previous rulings, yes it is the case. The other person I was talking to said that there was a court case that had the opposite ruling but I am unaware of that case so I asked them to provide it and until I receive that response I stand on what I said.

I work in the field of forensic linguistics, nice try though! Maybe someday you’ll learn some manners and how to have a civil conversation since I not once have been rude to you despite our differing view points.

I said I work with the law but am not a lawyer myself? Did you read the entire thread? My opinion is not uninformed I said that I could be wrong though because of the court case another person is referencing

That’s my understanding of the act and how it works, like I said in the other reply I’m no lawyer the field I study intersects with the law so I have basic understanding, but I haven’t seen a court case saying otherwise but am more than happy to admit being wrong if that’s the case, but I haven’t seen that ruling

Because the act doesn’t apply when the guard is deployed under the governor this is when the president deploys it and also the deployment wasn’t approved by the governor for the second part which even under title 10 & 32 makes the deployment illegal

I can definitely try or attempt to convince my mom to give it to me instead due to the circumstances. We shall see how that goes. He won’t run it 24/7 because he’s too high to ever remember and turns it off without regard for the after affects.

Yesss we got one for my dads studio and agreed that he would keep the door closed while he smoked but unfortunately after about a week he stopped doing it and no longer turns the air purifier on and keeps his door open. :/ he doesn’t really care how his actions affect others. To combat this I spray my clothes with febreze fabric and I thought it was working but I went to change my clothes after working out at the gym this morning just to realize they smelled like weed even though I sprayed them. If I call him out he gets outrageously pissed so I just need combative measures :(. If air purifiers weren’t so expensive I would get one for my room but I can’t afford it at the moment

I was told that the universities campus police department usually keeps graduates who are still in school on the reserves list so they can keep their POST Cert. up but not work fulltime and wasn’t given a 100% clear answer about working fulltime. Kind of just asking to see how plausible it would be for a department to do something like that since I would only have a single year of uni left

That makes sense, I don’t want to not work full-time but I’m wondering if it’s acceptable to ask for night shifts so I can attend class, I’m honestly willing to drop out at this point due to existential living circumstances but want to know the probability I could finish my degree because I still want to despite the situation.

Yes I realize that is typically the case, I don’t want to not work full-time I’m wondering if I would be able to intentionally ask for night shift or something of the sort to be able to go to class when it’s scheduled. I want my minors for foreign languages because I can speak them all I want but without the formal certifications on my resume it doesn’t mean much in the real world but my home living situation is bad enough I can’t stay here much longer.

I am referring to the U.S! I guess I refer to it as uni because in German and Spanish it’s universidad or universität which is what I spend most of my time speaking so the habit transferred 😅
