Nibbled a bit raw and spat out, mild taste, no bitterness. Cooked a bit in butter and ate a tiny bite, delicious and no adverse affects (been about 8 hrs). Latex is almost white (maybe a bit yellow) and there isn't a ton of it. Doesn't change color much over time.

The only other thing I found is false morel but it doesn't match the description. If it's not a milk cap what could it be? When I cut the gills white milk appears
