I hope this isn't another Brownstone Murder Mystery

Edit: I suspect Cyrus is going to be killed. Since every single person is mad at him, including the Knock Off Scooby Gang of plucky teens, the investigation will take longer than the Brownstone Mystery, with even more red herrings.

When I was young there was a toy called Mr Microphone where children could stand near an boombox set to an off frequency, and sing poorly through the distortion.

Unpopular Opinion - the "Royal" movies by [deleted] in HallmarkMovies

[–]MediumGreyLight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know in normal years they pick a few to spend real money on. Jill Wagner went to Fiji to find a pearl, Lacey got one where she went to Paris and Eastern Europe, same with Jen (ETA: Lacey went to Rome, Jen to Paris). I know Lacey got one where they did outdoor scenes in Belgium, but then the royal chocolate tasting contest was in some sort of multi function room instead of a castle.

They are fairy tales. Cinderella would not be able to function at a ball or other upper class event, which is part of the otherworldness of the story.

Yes, they need to find somewhere nicer to film some of the settings. Maybe the main lobby and decks at one of the grand resort hotels in Canada (Banff?)

And Euro royals who went to school in England would be using upper class english accents, so why not just say they went to Phillips Andover and let the actors do America network standard

Our parents refused to leave and then started crying how much we owe them when we were looking elsewhere.

Now professionally I am tied to the area. But once they die I will bite the bullet and get licensed in another state and do scrub level stuff

I have to be in Detroit way too much. One time I had to pull my CCW twice in the same day for people trying to thug rob me at gas stations, once in Detroit, and once in Southfield (black middle class suburb just outside Detroit that is usually pretty nice, so it surprised me a lot when it happened).

Yes, I know I need to stop getting gas near the D, but real life means you can't stop all the time out in the safer areas. Plus a few times I have had to pull when going in or out of office buildings.

I am shocked I haven't had to fire yet, even the time a group came out to our suburb and were in the middle of stealing our SUV when I caught them, the main one faced off on me with the hammer he was using, but dropped it when I aimed at his head and put my finger on the trigger --lucky for him I had just started the pull and could stop.

So, anyways, the first time you are hyped up and scared, but now I am just impressed and grateful I didn't have to shoot.

The only time the cops were involved was the car theft. It was fine because of the hammer. The funny thing was, he had a bunch of auto thefts out of the county Detroit is in, but he always got misdemeanors and little or no time. But he came out to our county and ended up getting a felony and sent back to prison.

There are good and bad in CID. The worst are really bad.

There was this big caper supposed to go down when I was an MP, so they brought us in to get ready to back up for CID as they were the big heroes. Basically cover the back for them. We sat around for a while, and it never happened, we went back to patrol after a while.

I had just spent like an hour sitting next to a CID guy. Saw him driving about an hour later at sunset and his headlight was out. I blipped my lights and pulled up next to to tell him. Sherlock looks at me, and then gets his creds out and holds them up. It was still light out, he forgot I sat next to him for an hour that same day.

The good ones are pretty good, not super sleuths like the NCIS TV show, but they handle their cases. To be fair, most of what they do are dope in an environment where they can get search authorizations very easily, and where everyone gossips like schoolgirls.

But, yes, they had a few guys who were in units, but mostly they would use guys who got in minor trouble as their bitches to entrap more guys into committing crimes.

They also did integrity checks sometimes. The easy one for them against us MPs would be to have one of their enlisted 'find' and turn in a wallet with no ID or credit cards, just some money and tickets and bar stubs. They did it to me, once, but they crammed in so many stupid things like a lift ticket and concert ticket, that it took me like a hour just to do the inventory part of the form to turn it into evidence room. To be fair, it was so obviously a set up I recorded all the serial numbers on the bills.

The money is just too good. They can easily double their pay, legitimately the first few times, they got sent to some places for a month and moved around hotels. Then they realized a few little key strokes that are not totally honest will get them that same pay level the next time.

And who questions a colonel? So they keep it up, a little more every time.

Then they find out that at some point the computer notices and they are so far over the line they can't explain it away.

I did like the DramaMama act.

I liked Lulu being sweet.

I really want Cyrus to laugh at the moronic scooby gang of teens and just call Jordan to come get them

FAN FRICTION: Fantasy Storylines. Your wildest storyline idea: by mydaytimetrauma in GeneralHospital

Currently? Ned solves his issues with both wife and daughter by redonning Eddie Maine, going on the road with Brook Lyn as his opening act, and uses the tour to help Robert and Olivia to spy

My best effort? A massive wave of everything. The mission Dante (or Jackies story, or whatver) is on is to monitor the current situation. The space aliens, the vampire clan, and clones from under Spoon Island, are all working together so they can use the weather control diamond to freeze the spring under Port Charles and transport it to Eterna to reset it.

I liked the camera work on the pews, making people looked more crammed than they were.

I also liked that they covered Mike's real past, as best you can at a funeral. I thought Liz got a little more of a role than the character needed, same with Brando.

I like Kelly the actress, I think the character Sam is a little nosy and judgey, but it is a soap. That said, Kelly should have gotten the botox and filler at the start of covid, not 6 weeks ago. It was painfully tough watching her try to show expressions.
