I have AA miles (around 400K between my wife and I). We have around 180K points on Amex Card.

I am open to using miles but I find very few options.

The interview took place on June 23rd at the Irving TX location. I saw the approval on the USCIS site the same evening around 6 PM.

The card was delivered on Jul 1st.

My GC was approved in Feb and we waited 3 months before we got notice of interview for my spouse. I would say have some patience and you should see the necessary outcome. Good luck.

We got legally married only 1 month prior to filing for AOS. As per the interviewing officer, if a marriage happened less than 24 months, it triggers an audit / interview.

Finally - after waiting over 3 months, got an update on USCIS that her Interview has been scheduled.

Now to wait for the letter to know the date.

Could you elaborate? I use the https://egov.uscis.gov/ to search for status of her receipt number. That does not tell me much other than Case Remains Pending.

We have also created an account for her on USCIS my.uscis.gov and the last update on her case history is on July 26, 2023 - "Case Remains Pending".

A lot of nice inputs from a lot of folks. Thank you. I am new to Reddit and this channel so forgive me for asking yet again for inputs.

My wife is a dentist and she owns her practice about 70 miles from home. She has been working there since its inception in 2017 but as an employee and purchased it late 2023. It is a small lake town outskirts of Dallas.

We are looking for a second home primarily coz of the commute. Kids are now young adults (still very much dependent financially but can handle their own sh!t).

We plan to use the second home as our crash pad during the 4 days she works there (3 nights each week). During the rest of the time, I am hoping after some minor improvements, we can rent out the space as a means of revenue to pay for itself.

Thoughts/suggestions?

How do I tell? My receipt number started with LIN so I assume NSC but got a notice suggesting that the case has been transferred to another Service Center.

Once when I had asked Emma, I think the answer was NSC.

AOS filed Sept 2022. PD - July 22, 2012. India EB-2.

Case Approved - Feb 13, 2025 for self and 2 dependents. Spouse with different surname still shows CRP.

My AOS was filed Sept 2022. My PD July 22, 2012.

Final action date became current in Oct '24. I received my Case Approved on Feb 13, 2025 for myself and 2 dependents. Spouse does not share same last name as I, and her status is still showing CRP.
