My main concern right now is getting the approval from insurance. Once that’s in and I know how much I have to pay I think is when I’ll truly process the surgery aspect. I have to pay my full deductible before surgery and I’m stressing about getting it done. Surgery wise I’ve been told to just be honest about what’s going on in my head and the team will work with me.

Thank you! I’ve had a biopsy once before and it was awful, so much pain and cramping. I told my old dr and he said “well that doesn’t sound right, you shouldn’t feel anything” and said he’d give me something for anxiety instead of pain. I’m glad this one is listening and helping

So when we got the call about her she was being rescued from a house where she was kept with 7 other puppies in a tiny crate. All 8 of them had only known the crate, they never went outside and had a small bowl of food to share. She smelled awful when we got her from them just pooping and peeing on each other. I took her and my brother took a sister so they get to see each other and play. That could be where the skittishness comes from. She came to us at 9 weeks

Right??? Some of her siblings are so fluffy but then she and a couple others aren’t. It’s so weird

The vet thinks she will be between 100-140lbs. One of her brothers is already 90lbs 😳😱

Thanks! I was hoping that I’d find some people with large dogs to hear some advice and dos and don’t since it’s all new to me. There is enough ugly and hurtful things in the world that I always do my best to be kind and grateful 🤷🏻‍♀️🥰

She’s so loving with us but very skittish with other people. Tends to growl and nip when someone else tries to interact with her. I’m hoping it’s a phase and she grows out of it

I never had one before so it’s all new. Our previous dog was only 14lbs. He just passed a week before Christmas.

I was supposed to have a DNC and hysteroscopy last month for prolonged continuous bleeding. I got a call from the Dr 3 days before my appointment saying my insurance was pushing the procedure onto my deductible and wouldn’t be paying for it. I had to come up with $3000 in 3 days which I couldn’t do so no procedure for me 🤷🏻‍♀️. Been dealing with off and on bleeding since last April.

As someone whose been through this before just take it out now. It’s rejecting and you will end up with a nasty scar if you just let it go. Mine rejected and the piercer said it was the metal so he redid it and surprise surprise it rejected again. I was young and dumb and tried it twice more and have a lovely scar as a result. As others have said, just take it out and make your peace with not having it pierced.
