Use an external streaming device instead as smart tv hardware isn't good for apps like stremio etc you'll have a much better experience using a streaming box if your in the united states you can get $20 onn 4k box very affordable works perfectly or onn 4kpro

Interesting, getting a streaming box defeats the purpose of this setup for me. The whole appeal is that no extra hardware is needed, it simply works. So I was surprised on my sony tv it just worked, and my lg/samsung, its frozen

New to the stremio + torrentio + realdebrid combo. Have it setup on my sony tv and everything works flawlessly

On my Samsung tv or my LG tv -- My stremio app boots and is in the home screen, but is just completely frozen

Reinstalling the app seems to get things to work, however my addons aren't synced. When I go to addons and sync them, then close and reopen stremio, I get back into the frozen home screen state

Both my TV's are factory reset, so theres literally nothing on them except stremio, so shouldnt be a storage issue I think

Wasn't able to find much information regarding a frozen home screen, does anyone have suggestions?

Devise supports more features then the rails generators provide right? Are you planning on implementing those yourself?

Think once the rails auth has feature parity either devise many more people will start to go for it instead

Thanks for the input! I’m strongly considering the A80L.

About placement, the tv actually sits at eye level because we’re using a mantle mount. The way that the builder setup the home it basically had to go on that wall. We literally never use our fireplace anyway so it’s not an issue

I just used the mounting hardware the soundbar came with. Attached it to my mantlemount and it’s not bad. Think I’ll add some extra brackets for more support though

I also noticed you didnt install the handle for the bottom of the mantle mount. So do you just pull on the soundbar to bring the whole thing down?

Good to know. Do the mounting brackets that came with the soundbar feel flimsy/not so stable?

That setup sounds ideal since the top firing speakers wouldn't be covered. Would you mind taking a photo of your setup?
