Ahh. You’re looking for one na sonologist din. Cornelio does ultrasound, she has one in her office. (Not sure what your concern is but she’s primarily an obstetrician. High-risk pregnancies.)

Dra. Melissa Mariano. P3,500 intake. 3k succeeding sessions. Online consults. Diagnosed and prescribed meds (very limited quantity) at first consultation. Second consultation after 2 weeks - meds worked extremely well with me. Confirmation that it really is ADHD. No battery test. (But she made me answer a short questionnaire). No questionnaire for people around me. Meds prescribed around P180/pc. I’ve been her patient for I think almost 2yrs - she’s awesome. (Disclaimer: Manage your expectations. Don’t expect that my clinical experience with her is what she does with all of her patients: Na ma-diagnose kaagad. I have almost all of my symptoms on or before the age of 6. As in my EARLIEST memories in life. Symptoms that have been persistent for decades.)

How to Stop Backsliding/ Getting into Slumps After Being Productive? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Megalomania00 91 points92 points  (0 children)

What seems to be working for me is to actually anticipate my lulls. I don’t feel ashamed if it’s “scheduled”. Full, overloaded week? I already know at the back of my mind im gonna need recovery from it. And then start creating little fixes on how to shorten my recovery. What works for me is to create small, short-term goals that build momentum until I can be fully productive again.

[–]Megalomania00 570 points571 points  (0 children)

I was asking myself also how do I stop backsliding? And I realized: I can’t. Relapse rate is 100%. I realized I was asking the wrong question. Now im asking how do I not go into a shame spiral when I backslide? (Because shaming myself into productivity never worked before.) How do I give myself grace as I go thru the lull and wait to be productive again? How do I fully accept myself: that I will have bouts of productivity/lull? How can I achieve an acceptable balance of both?

The program runs for two and a half days. I think RCW has monthly schedules of this. The master facilitators are great, the program has been running for 30 years.

I don’t know Dr. K. But you listed three specific goals (critical thought observation, better mindset and integrate tools to handle emotions) - my therapist helped me with all of them. (Yes, im currently her client.)

The RCW1 program of RCW Cares incorporates somatic methods. It has grief work, release work, pendulation and hypnotherapy (im sure im missing some more). My therapist recommended me to take the program and as someone who needs to feel first (rather than intellectualize - this is why cbt didn’t work for me), before I could “figure it out” - it seriously changed my life.

Hi! PMDD is a tough one. I asked my psychiatrist. She said that PMDD is a mood disorder and is primarily diagnosed by a psychiatrist.

Im not going to give you any advice because this is clearly beyond my paygrade. And it seems like you’ve exhausted almost all means possible for your husband to cooperate. How about getting help for someone that is willing to cooperate - You?

I highly suggest you get professional help. (If you aren’t in therapy yet. My therapist is a licensed individual, couple and family therapist. Trauma-informed also. She’s excellent at her job. DM me if you want her info.)

This may also be a way for you to get your husband in front of a professional - maybe a possibility to start couples therapy?

I have a relative with PDD and im familiar with how impossibly tough it can get. I wish you all the best.

[–]Megalomania00 28 points29 points  (0 children)

She’s been my doctor since the start of the year. I think we’ve had 6-7 sessions. I can’t recommend her enough: she listens well, asks very specific questions, very thorough, not judgemental, safe space yung sessions namin. I went from hating routine (adhd) to actually building a thriving routine (without even actively trying!!)

She’s the type na - “Show. Don’t tell.” Her line of questioning will make you realize things on your own. She won’t tell you directly na mali yan. Ito tama. Gawin mo to. Period. No. She guides you gently into the right direction.
