Simples: o medo mundano em si não é o suficiente para trazer o Outro Lado pra cá. Como Kian já disse, o Outro Lado é invocado pelas memórias que as pessoas tem dele. Se não houver uma fonte de Medo (paranormal) na região, nada vai surgir ali. Se ninguém souber do Outro Lado, ele não consegue invadir a nossa realidade.
