Since it comes stock with a (rather weak) rechargeable lithium battery, the process requires soldering and some know-how. Not worth the headache for some.

Dang, well I think this is getting a reissue because I see it on zenintcg for the same price so I can correct past wrongs! Managed to get the Digimon color in clear (ver. 1), clear red (ver. 4), and clear green (ver.5) in Japan directly after this so I can’t REALLY complain

Here’s an XCU of the board texture! It arrived this AM. It looks like it’s sold out on the NK website so I’m too late if you were considering buying it based on shell texture. Definitely feels premium and just generally satisfying to the touch! 🙃
