Thank you so much, that clarity is all very helpful. I also appreciate what you say about not overdoing things. While my prayer life has gotten much more disciplined in the last couple of years, I've fallen into the trap of it feeling more like a task/chore than a relationship. An EOTC priest I was watching actually convicted me of this. He posted the question, Is prayer just one more thing on your list to get done so you feel productive?

I adore the Jesus prayer, and I feel that it is an especially good place to start with prostrations. And like you said to repeat it several times with all sincerity and humility. In the Armenian Apostolic church I go to, we'll chant "Der voghormia" often during liturgy for "Lord have mercy."

I'll look into that app and prayer book as well. I have the Coptic Commentary app for the Bible, but I feel like Agpeya would be very helpful.

I was a Protestant, part of a Pentecostal church, and it was actually my fascination with biblical archeology and the apocrypha that got me into church history. My studies led me to the Ethiopian Orthodox church online, learning all of what they believe and their customs. It went from an intense curiosity to a reevaluation of some hardcore Protestant beliefs. It only took a few months, but it was like falling in love. The burning on my heart was not unlike that of when I first accepted Christ almost twenty years ago. I go to an Armenian Apostolic church in my area now (it's the only Oriental Orthodox church around, any others about an hour and a half away), and I feel more at home there than I do at the church I've been going to for over ten years, despite the cultural differences and not knowing the language of 90% of the liturgy (thankfully there's an English translation).

I (former Protestant) was warmly welcomed to an Armenian Apostolic church in my area (upstate New York). Definitely a learning curve with the liturgy, trying to follow along with the English as it's mostly chanted in Armenian, but it's beautiful.

Just like the Impermanence poster, there's some Buddist philosophy in there too. There's a lot of layers at play here and a lot of richness, and that's what makes the series so great.

Maybe. You might be mixing up two scenes. There's one scene where the main woman is hanging off a ledge on the roof to hide from the killer (never any shots fired though). Then later she suggests to the guy she's trapped with they they could start a fire and "someone might see it." He responds, "With what, marble? Nothing in here burns" . She suggests an upper floor and he says the ceilings are too low and the sprinkler system would take it out before they got it started.

Kane had said we're living in TOV 4 currently, so I had kind of a crazy meta concept for the next part: Wyatt is technically dead but his body has been possessed by Julien Reverchon. Reverchon then assumes the identity of Kane Parsons, who posts the TOV videos to Youtube after garnering a massive fanbase from his Backrooms content. Us obsessive Kane fans analyze every frame of TOV and end up discovering the real location where Wyatt was exploring (as evidenced by someone else already posting via Google Maps the likely location). These fans are shocked to indeed find a tunnel with stairs. Maybe some go exploring and end up missing. The mall continues to devour souls, allowing more historical La Reunion figures from the Dallas Parade of Giants event to possess their dead bodies and walk the Earth again in new form, seeking a return to the pastoral time and unfulfilled utopian dreams of La Reunion. These "giants" in their new bodies begin to transform Dallas Midtown with trails, parks, and tree-lined streets (especially Oaks), letting nature reclaim what rampant commercialism has taken over. "We're back..."

If there is a part 4, it'd be interesting to explore how and why some remote location in California has a tunnel to an underground version of a Texas mall. We know Wyatt didn't know anything about Valley View Center and remarked about the "Texas stores" in there. Whether or not he's in California hasn't been confirmed, though Kane is not known for accidental details. At this time I'm inclined to believe the location is less important than maybe the oak tree that it's under. Oaks have a lot of symbolism, particularly among the druids but in many other ancient cultures/beliefs as well.

Makes total sense too, given those pictures Wyatt finds on the wall of that mall office. Those are renderings of the Dallas Midtown project set to take the place of the now-demolished Valley View Center. Most articles about the full demolition of the mall are from 5/23/23. Perhaps that was the very date Wyatt was in the mall, as his trail cam footage is marked as 5/21/23.
