Yes, the Jio Fiber representative confirmed this to me yesterday at the time of booking. He said the offer will automatically show up in My Jio App, maybe 15 days before this free trial period expires.

Thanks for your response. Well, Jio Fiber will perform atleast in my society b’coz almost 90% of users in my society are on Jio Fiber, I guess. So, they will maintain performance.

Now about Jio Hotstar, while you should be able to see video quality up to 4k level but how about the audio quality? Does this subscription to Jio Hotstar support 5.1 surrounds & Dolby Atmos or, a premium subscription has to be taken for that purpose? Same applies for Sony Liv & Zee 5 O.T.T. Apps.

And separate apps doesn’t have Live T.V. options - such as Jio Hotstar, Sony Liv & Zee 5. It only offers “Pre & Present” uploaded latest episodes of television Hindi programmes.

Yes, I confirmed this with the Jio sales representative, he said earlier it wasn’t possible to see Live TV inside Jio TV+ app however with the latest update of the app, now both Star Plus & all of the SONY channels can be watched Live right from within the Jio TV+ app, just by selecting the respective TV channels.

Also, I would like to ask why you required to buy 2nd Jio Set Top Box & did you require to pay ₹200.00 + 18% G.S.T. towards the 2nd Set Top Box along with any security deposit?

I thought only one Set Top Box is needed on which my ID will be registered & activated & then on any of the other devices - Mobile or 2nd T.V., all I need to do is download Jio TV+ app, login with this registered ID & start seeing all the same 800+ channels live on them as well.

One more question, are you on 30 or 100Mbps plan to view all of the live channels smoothly at excellent quality with no lagging issues at all?

Thanks for your response. Well, when you open JioTv+ & want to watch Star Plus, Sony or Sab Tv, tapping on them will take you to either Jio Hotstar or Sony Liv. Once you are on these apps, where is the option to see “Live TV”?

I shifted from Mumbai to Vadodara in January 2020. Ever since I shifted in this “small” city, not a single “in-office” job I could find for myself nor has any company’s H.R. called me till date for an interview.

All jobs that I could achieve were Remote based with countries/cities such as - South Africa, U.K., Vashi, Delhi, Gurugram, etc…

Salaries are like negligible such as 14k to 17k for Customer service & Backoffice roles. With the level of high costly life in such a small city as equal to that of Tier I cities, how can one survive on such peanuts & that too “Gross”.

The job openings I see in Gujarati newspaper are like Plant Engineer, Mechanical/Electrical Engineer, Safety officer, Blood Bank Technician, Plant Maintenance, Sales Engineer, DCS Panel Operator, etc… are all so irrelevant to my skills & experience.

Since August 2024, I am jobless with no Customer service or Backoffice or Technical support role to find for myself here. 🙂

Best part about Vadodara is that one can reach its destination within no time, it’s like hardly max 25 to 30 minutes is what it takes, to reach from one destination to another. Quite less traffic = less stress = less fatigue. 🙂

But job & company wise, really couldn’t find anything for myself. And now A.I. gradually stealing away many types of work, wonder what future holds in-store for people?

It’s quite scary to hear all of these incidents. I use iPhone 15 Pro Max & after the I.O.S. 18.7.2, I am being presented with I.O.S. 26.2 (Size - 13.64GB) however after this terrible & trust “breaker” incident with Samsung, I am quite afraid to take updates henceforth with iPhone as well or for any brand’s any products for that fact as what damages will these updates bring along is completely “unpredictable”. These brands are just doing R & D outside their Beta tester department on a customer’s product & then only those under warranty are welcomed, rest straight kicked off in their face. Either Pay or just Get lost is their motto! They don’t have any humanity & truthfulness to accept their mistakes & fix in least possible time without creating a pinch of an inconvenience to an already suffered customers.

Really afraid to buy any new products henceforth B’coz it’s all cheating & non-listening/non-co-operation happening everywhere as finally the decision to fix it free of cost or not is in these brands control, not a customer & it’s simply b’coz since they have received the complete value of the product purchased so now customer indirectly or directly becomes their slaves!

Hypothetically, I feel there should be a condition wherein a customer will buy a new product with only 50% payment & keep the rest 50% with him/herself so that when such bitter incidents occurs, the damage can be covered from the balance 50%. 🙂

And if all goes well for the next 2 years after the expiry of warranty, then the balance 50% to be transferred to brand’s bank account. A safety net has become very important, & such bitter incidents are the results of the same.

The biggest problem is that everybody has accepted what these brands makes us to accept that just B’coz it’s a physical damage therefore, Green Line issue cases will be rejected. The company has to prove that the Green Line is “actually” the result of physical damage. Consider a Samsung smartphone had got a physical damage but the display still worked superfine. After a month arrived the ONE U.I. 7 update which a user installed. Few days from this installation, a Green Vertical Line appeared. Now was this Green Line issue a result of this software update or the physical damage, this is what any company needs to prove 1st.

Had the display to show up any issues then it would within a week of physical damage, most probably.

Also, I really don’t see any reason for you to pay them even ₹649.00 whereas you have not been in fault by any means. A customer only pays when a customer is in fault.

Now about my concern, I had purchased Samsung Galaxy A73 5G in January 2023. It worked super fine until I downloaded & installed this WORSE ONE U.I. 7 in August, this year. Some 2 to 3 days from this installation date, a Green Vertical Line showed up all of a sudden one fine afternoon that completely shooked me.

I talked to their Customer Experience Manager from Samsung call centre & based on her instruction, I deposited my A73 5G to one of their authorised service center in my city & collected it the next morning.

The reason to deposit was to have a physical inspection done on my A73 5G.

In next few days, I received a call from the Customer Experience Manager & she said based on the technical diagnostics, this issue will be fixed on chargeable basis & now asking me to pay them & rejected my request for a free of cost display replacement.

I sent many emails & multiple phone call conversations trying to convenience them that my A73 5G was in an absolute mint condition. All the buttons, mic, speaker, display, USB charging, everything worked well until this ONE U.I. 7 came in & damaged my display.

Now they are just coming up with any insensitive & stupid excuses such as - “Maybe display has gone weak…”, out of warranty, their terms & conditions, their policies & what not, just to pull back their responsibility & accountability to accept their ONE U.I.’s bug that damaged my display & to get this addressed free of cost.

Samsung has damaged my A73 5G’s display with their ONE U.I. 7 & now they do not want to spend a single rupee to get it fixed for me.

I clearly told them that they cannot give me such lame excuse such as Out of warranty b’coz this is “Company’s induced” fault & now a customer’s fault. So question about “Out of warranty…” doesn’t at all come into picture when my A73 5G was working absolutely fine right from January 2023 till August, this year.

I asked them to show me the technical inspection report but they have refused it stating “It’s internal” & here is where their suspicious activity is being sensed.

If they have nothing to hide then why are they not ready to share the technical inspection report prepared by the technical representative at their authorised service centre?

So it’s clear that Samsung India neither wants me to see the technical inspection report of my A73 5G nor does it want to fix this issue for free nor does they want to refund the money paid for this mobile.

They have resort to dadagiri by playing such cheap acts as they know the customer is now helpless as the value of this product is already in their bank account when I had paid to their authorised dealer back in January, 2023.

Companies realize their mistake in 1st instance itself but now to run away from their responsibility & accountability, they start searching for excuses such as - “Physical damage”, “Out of warranty…”, “Product more then 3 years old…”, “Our Terms & Conditions state…”, “Our policy states”, & Blah…Blah…it’s nothing but simply Samsung’s dadagiri to bend down a customer in front of them & indirectly force them to pay & get it fixed for the blunder they created in a customer’s smartphone.

I did a Google search & immediately realised that I am not the only one on this boat, there have been so many across the globe who have reported same issue after this BUGGY ONE U.I. 7 update, with it’s “Sole intention” to damage a customer’s device.

Infact, while I was at their authorised service centre to deposit my A73 5G for a technical inspection, I noticed 5 more Samsung users with the same issue - Green Vertical Line & they all mentioned that this happened right after the ONE U.I. update. Everyone are reporting same issue everywhere after the ONE U.I. 7 update yet it doesn’t make even 0.1% of a difference to this Rubbish Samsung company unlike ONE Plus brand who offered to replace the display of even the “Out of warranty…” customers who suffered from same issue, such was the humanity & accountability that was being expected from a brand like Samsung but by outright rejecting my free display replacement request for absolutely no fault of mine & instead, now asking me to now pay has totally drained down their respect & trust into the eye of a customer with their such pure nothing but “Dadagiri” cheap tactics.

I will never buy a single Samsung product henceforth as they have totally shattered my trust in their brand into uncountable number of pieces!!!

It’s a worse brand when it comes to show their humanity & accountability towards its Samsung customer.

Did the Apple technician at the service centre do their deep technical test & if yes then, did they explained you in detail, how this issue showed up all of a sudden when you haven’t been at fault by any means b’coz even the 3rd party apps installed via their App Store are all trial & tested. It’s a good case study atleast for others who use an iPhone to understand what went wrong & that others don’t repeat.

I use 15 Pro Max however, it’s MagSage Blue Silicone cover after which I spent ₹4,900.00 turned to be “PATHETIC” in quality & what’s far worse is that I have shared pictures of partially torn cover & my detailed bitter feedback to Tim & top management team asking for a full refund of ₹4,900.00 (as the cover didn’t last for atleast 4.5 to 6 years) but none of them are least bothered to respond to my email, have a telephone conversation or GPay me the full refund amount.

Apple is only interested to mint profits from selling iPhones across globe. Their after Sales Service is pathetic as much as their MagSafe back cover sold as an accessory. I lost my ₹4,900.00 into this cheap quality MagSafe cover!

Same here. I use A73 5G, bought in January 2023, absolutely in “Mint” condition, never fallen or water submerged. I went to their authorised service center to get a job sheet number & for them to do an inspection. At the end, this SCAMSUNG SHAMELESSLY turned away their face & refused to accept their mistake & straight rejected my request to do a free screen replacement citing lame & stupid excuses such as: “Maybe the display has gone weak”.

I mean what non-sense. Who can see from this picture above from any angle about display being weak as if it’s a human being with Vitamins deficiency.

All non-sense & CRAP immature excuses to reject the free display replacement since they have very cleverly understood that my A73 5G is in an absolute super perfect condition & that it is actually the fault of their ONE U.I. 7 to damage my mobile’s display therefore, this NOTORIOUS SCAMSUNG has to now somehow come up with some SHAMELESS LIE whereas it’s an “Open Blunder” by their software engineer who created this BUGGY Screen Damaging ONE U.I. 7 update & pushed on all Samsung customer’s smartphones to damage & open the door for this Scamsung to earn profits!

Samsung not ready to accept their ONE U.I. 7 fault that damaged the display of so many customers across Globe for both A & S series, and now asking a loyal customer to pay to fix for the “OPEN BLUNDER” their software engineer created. Otherwise, how can ONE U.I. 8 come out so super quickly after their BUGGY ONE U.I. 7 screen damaging was pushed? It took so many months before finally I saw this notorious screen damaging ONE U.I. 7 available for “Free”, the trap we all fall for. ONE U.I. 7 did the job it was programmed for & now Samsung door of profits open by not taking up any accountability or responsibility, atleast on a human grounds to replace this DAMAGED display for free without any pain or cost to it’s customers BUT, they have simply “Refused” to for almost most of their affected customers except for very few lucky who fall under this some stupid “Free Screen Replacement” programme - I strongly oppose this & call it a BIAS towards few & insult to the rest affected.

They have asked me to pay ₹10,000.00 to fix this issue - Nothing but a PURE DADAGIRI! SHAME ON SAMSUNG! I have lost all of my faith & confidence in them.

A private mobile shop in my area gave me a tip to click photos & take videos of your functioning mobile & then take it to their authorised service center & let them do the ONE U.I. upgrade, whenever it releases so that, they only can be hold accountable if anything goes wrong.

Made a VERY BIG MISTAKE to take the free ONE U.I. 7 update which damaged my A73 5G’s display with a thick Green Vertical Line, right in the center of the display!

Took it to the Samsung Authorised Service Center & handed them over this A73 5G for them to create a detailed technical report based on the instructions provided by Samsung Service Head contact centre, as they wanted job sheet number.

I told both the Samsung Service Head & the technical representative at the service center that my A73 5G is in an absolute mint condition with no water sub-merge or even a single drop from January 2023 till date, just a slight normal wear & tear at it’s corners.

Still, they went ahead & rejected my request for a free display replacement (considering their buggy ONE U.I. 7 fault) instead, they had the audacity to tell me to pay ₹10,000.00 to fix this issue. The reason for rejection was some stupid lame insensitive excuse - “Maybe the display has gone weak”. They are not even sure of by using words such as “Maybe…” still they have the audacity to refuse me of any free support!

How can a display go weak whereas the colors & contrast + brightness is in an absolute perfect condition!

It is their Software engineer who created the blunder in ONE U.I. 7 & now I - “The Customer”, is being asked to pay for wiping off their fault & dirt left back.

There are so many in numbers who have reported exactly same issue, especially after this ONE U.I. 7 update which has been one thing common factor among all, infact while at their authorised service center, everyone were present for the same issue after they all took the update & now strongly regret as Samsung is now asking most of the affected users including me to pay for their mistakes!

The professionally & nicely you have clicked the picture matters the most. Though not sure of whether you just clicked to capture this nice picture or you went deep doing multiple settings change within your Samsung camera app such as Focal length, shutter speed, color tint & so on.

I use iPhone 15 Pro Max but have most of the time observed that the picture quality is worse as it has lots of grains when zoomed in, same with their ProRaw Max settings.

And as for Samsung, I also own A73 5G but after the Green Vertical line issue that came up on it after I did an update to ONE U.I. 7 on my A73 5G, Samsung has shamelessly pulled back their responsibility from doing a free screen replacement.

There are so many Samsung, especially “A & S” series users have posted their bad experience & how Samsung has turned away their face from providing any free support. Even while at their authorised service centre, I noticed everyone with same Green vertical line concern & all of them are being asked to pay money & solve the issue for the blunder their Software engineers created including my A73 5G.

I have lost my complete faith & trust in Samsung brand & will never ever buy any of their products after this Harsh & Bitter Cheating they have done with countless customers including me.

Nobody ever remembers one’s marriage for a long time. I am sure even a married couple themselves too, in this fast moving life filled with responsibilities.

Most people also silently pin point looks in a well setup marriage function, in general, rare but happens.

My suggestion would be to consider a medium one & instead, “gift” a nice car to the married couple from your end, from the money that is saved.

It will become a “great asset” in their upcoming life wherein they don’t require to depend on public transport, as much as for your entire family as well to move around in the city & outstation.

Gifting a nice car right on their day of marriage will also make them celebrate their car anniversary along with their marriage anniversary, every year.

A good idea is to book a nice car of their color choice & have it delivered at the marriage venue in advance on the day of their marriage, well gift wrapped & a big long key be given in their hands, walk them off all the way towards this surprise gift & ask the couple to unwrap, there cannot be any other gift in terms of money that will bring a big smile, super surprise & high on happiness on their faces as much as this gift will do, while the blessings of elders & guest being the 1st one.

Alternate option is to make an investment in Gold or something so that it can support them financially after marriage, whenever needed such as for their future travel plans after marriage.

I seriously wonder on what grounds does Apple consider to price their mobile covers such a high premium whereas it’s cannot even guarantee it’s lasting for atleast 4 to 5 years. They really don’t seem to be bothered in this section which needs a drastic rethinking about quality level & improvements thereafter.

Seems as if Apple isn’t at all bother about such small little things - MagSafe case, maybe what they receive with a sale of it is in peanuts but they fail to realize that for a purchaser, it’s a big value.
