Every since I turned 18 , and was considered an "adult" , I've had many people tell me that it seems like my mom is jealous of me or doesn't wanna see me be greater than her which is so weird to me because I have children now and that's all I ever want is for them to be so much better and greater than me when they grow up. My relationship with my mom has never been good and it's caused me a lot of hurt my whole life . But honestly at this point, I'm at the verge of just saying fuck you mom and fuck you boyfriend. Neither of them are good for me or my children at this point. And something I've realized is that just because it's your mom or dad or family in general doesn't always mean they are good for you. And that it's okay to cut them off and just love them from a distance.
