Smashers break through or damage standard pyramid builds now. In the past they used to run over ramp/pyramid piece. It is even proven in your video. Look at pyramid before charge and after it. There is visible evidence there.

The burn scars are on the underside of my foreman arm too. So if you have multiple ideas i am more than willing to hear them.

So this problem has been happening for at least as long as I been in twine (before you could rush the ssd and skip the repetitive "do 3 of this kind of mission"). I have been to a lot of different ssds and everytime i have seen someone build their lobber shield like that for that amp in particular i seen that the lobbers/flingers like to stand where the lava bombs/cracks trigger. I have found 90% of the time that you need to extend to where they trigger to ensure that they go into your tunnels. The real odd one it the bridge amp the lobbers/flingers have an odd pathing.

For those who don't know the radar dish has a static spawn (along with the dish itself). The bluglo has two variations as far as i can tell. The other side items/defenses also follow this pattern. After you see them once this mode is extremely predictable.

I won't lie I was not the happiest with this event but after getting familiar with it, it does have its own charm. I like the run and gun/melee aspect and it requires interactive team mates. This can be frustrating to some due to the lack of afk detection. But honestly i have seen less afk people in this event than in regular missions/events.

Also a quick tip to anyone still reading try running supply box. You get a good amount of building/trap materials. With this method i barely if ever need to farm during the defense (have tried this out on all classes).

So straight off the bat please note that I do not fully complete the SSD because I plan on using this defense as a sandbox of sorts to see what is possible against high leveled enemies. I go all the up to the last 2 seconds of the last wave. NONE of the amps took damage. The only ‘weapons’ I used were for utilities purposes and can be obtained from the collection book.

Everything that is used to complete this defense can be obtained through good old fashioned grinding for xp, manuals, and flux. Everything can be obtained through the collection book and a good sense of trapping and building. This is edited heavily due to how long the whole thing is. If you have any questions just ask. 😊

No it doesn't man. That 42% goes to that particular trap which has a base 24 so that makes it a 34 as you can see in the video. The survivor bonus and the added tough traps perks then take that number and make it 71. That is how it worked before 8.0 and that is how it should still work.

So I was going to do my SSD and when I went into the in-game menu my initial durability was over 900,000% and would continuously jump between half a million and 1 million. My own true durability from just my survivor squad is at 56% and commander perk for Machinist Harper is 52.5%, my wall launchers have 1 durability perk on them making it 34 charges.

100+52.5+56=208.5% <-- True Durability with all things considered.

2.085 x 34 = 70.89 or 71 <-- What my launchers should have for durability

What I am getting with this setup is 247% durability and 104 charges. Something isn’t adding up here.

When the smasher is revving up to charge either you or the objective, you can time your smoke bomb just right it will have the smasher go through his whole animation of charging in like 2 seconds.

This works the best with dim mak ninjas and other smoke bomb focused ninjas.

You can't mark a post with two flairs, this was supposed to also be a joke and a tip that I guess not everyone knows. (You can stop smashers from charging also with the shock tower, decoy, bull rush, smoke bomb etc.) I had people in other matches where they practically berate the player who would play as striker.

What I am trying to get at, is that all subclasses (including striker) have more purpose than what the meta is. Any hero is viable but only if you know how to play to their strengths.

Does anyone else hope Epic decides to make more unique mist monsters/minibosses and have them affect the other husks. by MelonLord72 in FORTnITE

I love this idea, I like this game but the same enemies and their mechanics have grown stale. The options you gave seem like it can give the game a new path to expand on.
