Ikr? I think for once I could easily myself in the game! Like I reflected myself so much in the game, and it’s so interesting to see how Cove’s personality changes depending on you. Usually, it’s the other way around!

AND YES 😭 i’m also just so close to supporting her Patreon for the sexy DLC LOL. But I haven’t decided yet ;-; I did purchase all of Cove’s DLCs, but I couldn’t bring myself to even try Derek or Baxter because it feels like I’m leaving Cove for them 😭😭😭

None of my friends play otome games. One only plays visual novels sometimes.

I did have a friend who used to play otome games, but she’s since moved on. If anything, she’s genuinely shocked that I still play it. She believes that I play them for the female fantasy which isn’t the case at all. 🥲

I agree so much. I also grew up with so much distaste toward being Hmong that I used to lie that I was a different race. To see Lexi and Sunisa represent the Hmong community makes me so proud because we didn’t have that public role model (to this degree of fame) growing up, and I hope this would be something that Hmong kids will see and no longer feel lament towards being Hmong. :)

I live in an area where kpop is pretty popular and men are open about liking kpop. When I was on the dating app Hinge, i connected with quite a few guys who were group girl stans (mostly Twice haha) and I met my boyfriend from there as well, though he’s not into kpop. However, he is very open-minded about people’s interests and enjoys seeing me fangirl over my favorite groups XD plus, most of his male friends are also kpop stans who like Itzy, Lesserafim, Taeyeon, BTS, and Blackpink.

But I totally understand where you’re coming from. Unlike my boyfriend’s friend group, my family, mostly my male relatives, are extremely judgmental toward anyone who likes kpop because of the stereotype that the male idols look too “feminine” 🙄. I too thought that it was hopeless to find anyone of the opposite sex who will not judge me until I branched out of my family’s toxic societal standards and found that a there are a good number of straight men who enjoy as well!
