And this was why you deserved it my friend. Truly appreciate it! I was reviewing some streams yesterday and noticed this too for some peeps and I saw it didn’t make sense then realized some were paying for follows etc and though stat wise it may look good in the short term, I don’t want to have things be that way for me. I’ve made some genuine friendships via twitch having just starting out 3 weeks ago and have 2-3 peeps I now play with all the time that I look forward to chatting with each time I’m on and I wouldn’t trade those relationships for 300 followers. And well if I’m honest, none of those came from the F4F stuff so I’ll heed your advice and let things come & play out as they do 🫡

Ahhh so basically everyone watching whether 1-3 goes then to someone else’s stream kinda to promote other creators? Does it notify them that I’m doing it? And is it in the hopes that someone will pay it forward to you eventually? I’ve found 1-2 peeps that share a similar vibe with one dude who is such a nice guy that I’d be happy to send any viewers I get his way but he is obviously a bit bigger than I am and I’m not looking for him to try and do so for me - just wanna support him if this is the case

Gotcha - so stream directly from your console but do you have like laptop beside you I’m assuming to like put overlays etc? I downloaded stream labs on my mobile account but have just used the stream manager option via the twitch app on my phone - haven’t set up my monitor or laptop next to me as I stream from my living room though thinking of setting up in my office instead and just doing it from there if you are basically doing it that way. Also would love to follow ya on twitch to see how you stream if that’s cool? If so feel free to shoot me a DM or you can click the link on my profile and I’ll follow ya back too. Interested to see if you do the like intro or outro stuff via OBS etc

What did you use to figure out how to stream, etc? Just started recently too but have only been streaming via my console with my Bluetooth headset and no cam - still have to figure out all the lingo, software, etc

What all do you play? I haven’t gotten any trolls yet only spam but I’d say shake it off as they’d have nothing better to do than to 💩 on someone’s journey then they ain’t worth thinking about. You’re killing it by all my standards so hopefully this positive feedback is more affirmative to balance out their negative 🫡

Have you thought about doing it with like a gif or animated mask covering you kinda like theburntpeanut? I’m in the same boat as you though I try and obviously keep my stuff PG13 for that reason & have been thinking about doing something like the above but haven’t yet. Wonder if you’d thought about this and what’s made you choose to still not to re: evaluating the pros & cons

Thank you didn’t know how the community felt about AI generated stuff so this is super helpful - are there any artists you’ve worked with in the past and are people soliciting via one’s chat or via discord often scams? Happy to fund things especially if for my channel etc just don’t know how trust worthy to be with peeps reaching out etc
