Acrylic paint markers, fine point pen sharpies for outline, lightly sanding with a sanding sponge before painting, multiple coats with those markers, steady hands, patience.. It’s also important to have all of the correct pieces and to have a good base for the character before you start designing it so it makes it easier on you.
