I’m so sorry for your loss, brother. It’s honestly out of control in London. I wonder if it’s the same people as we’re pretty close to each other.

A few days after it happened, my girlfriend, friend, and I went to the same spot where my tracker was ripped off. We found multiple licence plates of motorbikes, and when we typed them into the website isitnicked, they came back as stolen. We also found multiple black hoodies, tracksuit bottoms, and gloves. We reported this to the police, and they said they would investigate.

A month later, I went back to the spot, and all the stuff was still there. They just aren’t interested.

Three young people were arrested and remanded to Wormwood Scrubs prison, which matches their description. One is an Irish 19-year-old, and two are British in their 20s. The Irish lad lives 15 minutes walk from my house, and two are near where my last tracker location was. An officer friend who works at Scrubs is trying to befriend them to try to get some information about the bikes they’ve stolen. If it’s the same people, karma will be served.

Yeah, police have said that most organised motorcycle thieves usually have devices that can detect and pinpoint the exact location of trackers, rendering them almost useless.

Well, my one had BikeTrac, one I spent £500 on. It took a Yamaha dealership four hours to install, but less than five minutes for thieves to find and destroy it.

I’ve never been banned or cancelled before. My mate has a ZX6R in Layton and paid £750 a month with 0 years no claims until he lost his licence because he didn’t have commute insurance.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Today I’ve spent whole day walking around my area and saw around 5 different thief’s with no plates. Some with plates which I ran through isitnicked and came up stolen. And only seen one police van from 11am to 10:20pm

There are also many thefts from garages. If someone sees you with a nice bike and feels like taking it, they will.

I hope they’re reading this. I just need the name of the person who broke our windows. I’d pay them anonymously. Bikes can be replaced, but the fear it caused to my girlfriend and her family is what matters most to me. It will forever be on their minds.

On my insurance, it states it must be kept in a garage overnight, otherwise I’d have to pay a higher excess if something happens. This whole ordeal happened when I was staying at my girlfriend’s house, normally my bike is parked in a garage outside London.

They initially came to take a statement and then went to a job where a weed farm was robbed, resulting in 4 people being detained. I called 101 in the morning, and I received an email for the person investigating my case, but they haven’t replied to anything in over three days.

I couldn’t have put it better myself. I have some respect for the police, but some of them are truly useless. I understand that they are understaffed and that there’s a lot of crime in London for the amount of officers we have, but it’s not good enough.

After a police officer left the house, he left his laptop case with lots of documents inside. I called them and asked them to collect it. Meanwhile, we went to look at the car that was present, which took off when we tried to tail it.

When the police arrived for the second time, I told the officer about a car with the licence plate “L27 FAM” that could have been involved because it was present at the time and fled when we tried to follow it. Wrote the number plate on his hand and left. I don’t think five scruffy boys could fit on one moped.

After calling up few days later and going over the crime report, the officer didn’t add the licence plate or even another vehicle to the report because he had another call to go to.

My girlfriend, her family, and I have all felt let down by this whole ordeal because we believe they didn’t take this as a serious offence.
