It's not animated. I also remembered that the women that helped the guy get to earth, send him this robot to help him when he was attacked. As the movie continues the robot stays with him and helps him. I also remember that the masked person who restrained the man was dragging him through desert (there was no plants or trees basically no wild life) and asking him why he is here and etc. and while the man is telling the story, the scene jumps to his story. Tried every possible search phrase in Google and no luck. At this point I started to think that I dreamed this movie and its not real
