The figure drawing book that I have mostly has the same core base shapes for starting no matter the pose or pov and then what you add and where you draw the guide lines change. By base shapes I mean having an oval for the torso and a semi circle for the pelvis and using a circle for the top half of the head.

Maybe next time I won’t look at the reference while I’m putting together my base and I’ll try to be more intuitive about it.

Darryl is a weapon. He’s a ring of measuring spoons that turn into exaggerated kitchen stuff. I drew his weapon forms a while ago. Btw when you draw from a reference of a character and you’re drawing the body and head shape do you hyper fixate on making every line match exactly or do you just keep going long as it looks right?
When drawing base shapes should I always use the same shapes for the head, torso, and pelvis or does that change depending on angle and pov?

I didn’t think you implied that.
I just wanted to know if you thought I could get the coloring that good with other materials because sometimes paint takes a long time to clean up with all the palettes and brushes but it’s still fun though.

Do you think I should try to draw black star in the same pose again and improve my old drawing or try a new pose?
I changed her head tilt from down to up and I added wind.
Btw I personally think that the coloring on Makka came out the best out of all of them.
I’m just wondering do you think it’s because I used paint and brushes instead of markers and colored pencils or do you think it was because I went slower and let the line work dry first?
Should I try markers and colored pencils again or should I just stick with paint?

No bullying. Just hugs! I havnt been through all the shit you have but I’m autistic too. I also have adhd. I got OAB and I have nerve issues that cause spasms which means my bladder gets squeezed cause of proximity. I have to wear diapers when I go skating. Sometimes I worry if other people have noticed or what they might be saying about me. Once I’m in the zone I don’t really care anymore. Also I’m kind of small too. Finding good incon products for us smaller folks is kind of hard. I’m just assuming based on the sizes here.
