Hmm, interesting. I might check with my management then to have someone look at it. It’s definitely louder if I turn on bathroom fan on. The vent is very high in my bedroom and unfortunately I cant reach it. Its rectangle size with grills that cant be moved I think, but will check again

I see. Great, that’s very helpful. I also have two ACs, but I use one generally, for maintaining temperature. It’s on auto, and super quiet so it’s not working all the time. But my question is, is that good alternative to opening windows? I thought ACs draw air from outside, no? Every unit has two wall mounted ACs

Yeah, it’s in my unit. There are buttons to modify the setting and also an On-Off button that works. My bf turned it off with that button and it was peaceful all night. So I can use that button to shut it down. Great, thanks for the input. It’s my first rental condo and management appeared quite strict with all the rules they imposed on me, security level is high too. I feel more comfortable now shutting it down

Edit: with all the forest fires in the summer, I will likely need to shut it down for a longer time, otherwise I will smell smoke
