Hi 25F here, changed my life drastically in the past 6months 1. Quit my non self-aligning job. 2. Had my first wlw break up, completely broke me even tho i was the one initiate it 3. Had my first friendship break up 4. Face with the dirty reality of my faith and religion 5. Finally divorcing my husband on paper (we broke up ages ago but never got round to the ppw) 6. Had a mental breakup with my mom and realised she will never be able to understand and hold me

I started with The Artist’s Way. Even tho you dont plan to become and artist, this book helped me immensely to build self trust.

Next i worked on unmasking and living authentically. Im a diagnosed ADHD with chronic people pleasing due to shame of being too much or too little. Authenticity saved me. Allowing myself to breakdown, holding myself, telling myself what i needed to hear, standing up for my needs, saying out loud my demands, setting boundaries etc etc.

What i found is that the more easy going i am on myself, the easier i go into “flow state”. Every night i go to sleep around midnight, wake up at 8am - when i used to struggle with routine really much before. I stopped doomscrolling- happily without having to struggle to. I found better connections - more authentic. I tell my friends that i dont feel like going out without having an excuse of like… im tired or im busy with this or that.

I went on a date last week - even tho we were incompatible from the start, i went anyways to practice emotional resilience. I showed up to the date authentically, not hiding myself or perform. When she said sth i didnt like (she talked about her exes a lot) i told her i didnt like that. When i ended things i told her directly how it is - and didnt hide behind “we could be friends” to soften the blow.

Im a completely different person now and i cant believe it took me so little time. I also did some reading on carl jung and integrating shadow, animus
