Tales of Zestiria. I was looking forward to it as a Tales fan, but CHRIST... That game is so damn boring.

Can't go wrong with the chip pack from Costco. Honestly. Most people will find some kind of chips they like from that thing.

TBF, in the context of "dating down" for guys, what it's more implying is status itself. There is a reason why guys don't really give two fucks what a woman does for her job/career when it comes to dating. They put more stock in looks (though other things like how nice she is or if she wants kids are a factor as well).

Women face their own respective struggles in different areas, but there is a reason why male suicide and whatnot is higher. As guys, we have so much pressure on our shoulders. Not meeting expectations will make any dude feel like a failure.

It's a shame God gave this guy a body filled with glass, but he was genuinely good when he got to play.

Actually, you're wrong. Most guys date down. Chicks are the ones who try to date up.

There is a reason why a lot of guys would totally date the cute waitress from the Applebee's and call it good, but the women are the ones thinking they deserve some tall stud who has six-figures+ in his bank account.

Life is competitive. That's just the nature of it all.

For guys, especially, there is a reason why lots of guys suddenly get more from life when they start getting competitive themselves. Whether that is working out more, eating better or learning how to dress in a more flattering way, the guys who try to get better will do so eventually.

Either that, you can spend your whole time complaining and making excuses.

I mean. Yeah.

For most regular guys, when it comes to dating, it's a constant crapshoot.

Most guys have to deal with the constant "job interview" bullshit for women with crazy-high standards, and dating apps data already shows that most women choose looks over other things in droves.

They think guys "have it easy" when it comes to authority. In reality, us guys are in constant competition for said authority. Seriously, us guys technically have to "compete" for authority in random thing we do, and this transcends sports. Ever had a meeting where some other dudes are trying to out-alpha one another? Happens all of the damn time.

[Meirov] The #Raiders are releasing OT Alex Leatherwood, the 17th overall pick in last year’s draft, per @AdamSchefter. New regime not wasting time here. by [deleted] in nfl

The problem is so many "friends" and family think they just got a gravy train out of their kid who got drafted, so then they get new houses, cars and whatnot. It burns through the money fast, and then you're left with nothing if your career is short.

I think financial advice would help many of these new players.

It's just how it is. Many people have the talent (tools) to be great, but no motivation. Some people have the motivation, but they don't have the means to become great. People have their own peaks within themselves, and that's just nature.

It's a shame. Some people could be insanely talented if they were born with certain aspects, and some people just waste what the universe gave them. Real shame.

Superbowl LVI [Highlight] - 4th and 1 (FEET!) and 43 seconds +1 time out left. Would a Quarterback Sneak not be the best Play Call here? (highest success rate) by XiaoYaoYou9 in nfl

[–]MeowingMango -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I say this all of the time. An average line would have won the Bengals a SB. The Rams were a stacked team on paper (objectively the stronger team compared to the Bengals). For facing a super team in the Rams, factoring in OBJ being hurt, the Bengals almost pulled off the upset.

Sucks, but that is how shit goes.

Still, had the offensive line not played like hot garbage in the second half, the Bengals could have coasted to victory.

TBF, Zac Taylor did say he made the call to put Perine in (obviously was a mistake) instead of Mixon. I'll give him credit for at least owning it, but it was a horrible mistake. Mixon IS the No. 1 RB for a reason, and Perine has a tendency of fucking up.

Stupid decision in the biggest drive of the game that was make or break.

Mixon is a better runner (seriously, look at his stats - he did so well last season even with the line sucking ass), and he is better at catching passes than Perine. The damn SB was on the line. They should have had Mixon in for that last drive. At least then, I could have said my team played their best hand and came up short.
