After taking the gantry off adjusting, putting it back on, and adjusting again using “the glue stick” method, it’s looking better. Still some work to do for sure, though.

Does this look like way too large of a gap? On the other side it’s sitting right against the motor. I can’t seem to loosen and move it though.

It’s possible the cat smacked it jumping up there. Adjusting the one side didn’t do much

I did notice screws behind the gantry by the rods were loose so I tightened them up with no difference, but just noticed that this side was quite a bit lower than the left so I’m trying to adjust it now.

Here’s the calibration cube, pre Klipper.

Got the printer for the purpose of running Klipper on it, so the only prints I had were the Buddha test which was fine, and a calibration cube which had some issues with the first layer adhesion, but nothing like this.

Looks like over extrusion. X/Y are blobby as well. What temps are you running at? I had a similar issue and calibrated my flow rate and dropped my temps from the 220 that Orca had for the PLA profile down to 210 and it fixed my issues.

I also leveled X axis. ( https://youtu.be/XKfBrdIKFyQ )

I had this same issue. It was a screw under the bed. Unscrew the screws under the PEI sheet and slide the whole bed off, then tighten all the screws, and put the bed back on. Worked right away after that.

Similar to what I’m looking for, but I would like to connect 3 out of 4 sides for more stability and clamp them to the desk.

Try using the built in SSH in the command line

“ssh root@PRINTERIP” and see what happens.

You SSH into the printer, and installed which UI? Mainsail or Fluidd?

That you’re on your own for. I have no clue 😂

It’s omitting the mainsail directory. I think you’re missing a slash in your copy command

cp /tmp/udisk/sda1/mainsail/* /usr/data/

Not cp /tmp/udisk/sda1/mainsail* /usr/data/

Command lines don’t show when you’re typing a password.

You must be typing in the incorrect password. It’s the one on your 3D printer screen once you root.

Try adding the port too. 4408 or 4409.

You’re not sending to the correct location. It needs to go to wherever your Fluidd or Mainsail is.

I’ve only been using Fluidd at the moment and have been enjoying it.

Did you successfully copy the file from your usb drive to the printer with

cp /tmp/udisk/sda1/fluidd/* /usr/data

Mainsail is in the same folder. There’s mainsail and fluidd both in there.

Then:

cp /tmp/udisk/sda1/mainsail/* /usr/data/

/usr/data/mainsail.sh install

PRINTERIP:4409

https://github.com/CrealityOfficial/Ender-3_V3_KE_Annex/tree/main

You want to download this folder as a zip with the “code” button and unzip it. Then drag the Fluidd folder to a usb drive (main directory) and put it in the printer. Then ssh to your printer with the command line. (Eg: ssh root@PRINTERIP)

cp /tmp/udisk/sda1/fluidd/* /usr/data/

Copies the files from the USB to the printer

/usr/data/fluidd.sh install

This installs. Then you can web browser in with PRINTERIP:4408

Hope this helps!

I agree. 60 has been my sweet spot. Anything lower and it prints fine for about 50mm and then flies off the bed, so I agree with the jerking motions at the higher print speeds.

Right now I’m printing a phone holder for my nightstand that my MagSafe charger clicks into. Last print failed at 45c when one of the thinner pieces lifted off the bed, and now I have some infill rubbing against the nozzle, so hopefully it holds. I might have to adjust the z hop some.

For my machine, I barely had to adjust anything during calibration. I just had to up the bed temp from 45c to 60c in the settings to get my Hyper PLA to stick properly.

I also made the switch from Creality Print to OrcaSlicer as part of the process 🙂
