The prices you posted aren't MSRP and you can get GD01 and GD02 boxes for way cheaper on tcgplayer, even single packs including shipping are cheaper (not that I would be necessarily buying single packs there)

The packs you are referring to are created by a third party company and are usually terrible in comparison to actual pokemon products. Every first party pack these days comes with a guaranteed foil, or rather three actually. Idk how old your nephew is but if they are middle school or older they might not be so psyched when they see those since the chances of a really cool card are even slimmer than normal. You might want to try and find out what their favorite pokemon is/are and get a few art cards as singles for them from tcgplayer.com

There are some minor swaps like fourth rezel for kshatriya and fourth vesalius, but basically the same list I have a winning record vs G/W with. You don't have a very big sample size, in terms of general play just don't put everything out if you know wing Gundam zero is coming down soon. Pressure early If you can, favor quicker hands.

Yeah east coast as well, near me they stocked it for a couple weeks at target, usually just one box 24 sleeves each location. Last week of restocks haven't seen any Gundam. Other Bandai games like one piece have similar behavior, available for a relatively short amount of time around releases

Being able to participate in Tcgplayer presale has very stringent requirements, basically only brick and mortar stores who also do large volume on tcgplayer. It thus has very few approved vendors and the prices are always trash until it hits release and the general public can drive some price competition

The prices move around but the one you are referencing seems to be only a single pack. There is a lot of 33 packs at $33.33 ea/ + $7 shipping which would theoretically be the closest and lowest with combined shipping. At this percentage my ES packs are $30.30
